Hey Nick, the very first Mopar in our family, was a 1967 Chrysler Newport 383 2 Barrel. Not a convertible, but the exact same color yellow as this 300. Same color black interior, my father owned it many years. It was a column shift with the bench seats in it. Our family has been Die Hard Chrysler ever since

69 Mach I looks just like mine except I don't have a shaker hood because I have a stroker 427/447 with the Ford dual quad intake and carbs. My rear louvers are original Ford with the hold downs. I think the 69 is the most beautiful of the Mustangs, I was lucky to get mine when in high school. It was a 351 but then I got a deal on the big block stuff and I worked at a speed shop doing engine machining. Almost all my pay checks went into that car, and worth every cent!

My grandfather had a 66 2 door Polara he bought brand new right around when I was born. During the summers weed go down to the lake house we had out in the country away from the city. I still remember the datshound in the back window on the package tray with the bobbly head that would bob up and down riding down the road, lol. Great times and memories of an age gone by,but thank God for Nick, his crew of family and friends along with enthusiasts like us who love our old beautys and keep them shining and rumbling on down the road, sometimes fast, sometimes slowly enjoying a relaxing cruise, and it's all good, regardless. I grew up in those old luxury barges, land yachts and of the muscle of a great historic age for cars. Amazing guys, almost 100,000 subscribers, wow, congratulations!!!!! We love ya'll too!!! Thanks again guys! ▪☆☆☆▪

The first new car I bought was a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 with the 428 Cobra Jet. I was 19. It is crazy to think that you could walk into a Ford dealership in 1969 and drive out with what was essentially a race car right off the lot. If memory serves me, I paid $4,200 dollars for it. Scary fast and fun to drive.

God, I miss my 66 300..... Sleeper, Camero killer, 0-60, but then aerodynamics comes into effect..... Bought the car with 58,000 miles from a guy my father knew, the original owner and Dad had all the service records at his shop. The car, running on 92 octane, would break that back wheels loose, as shifted through the gears.... There is nothing stronger than a high compression, 440, with a 727 transmission. Loved that car. Wish I never sold it. Total sleeper with comfort of an old school executive cruiser.

A great time to be alive and see 2nd and 3rd generation Mustang in the showroom or on the Car Lot on Sunday . Sales had tapered off for Mustangs in 68 with just over 41,000 fastbacks and it was better for ordering one the way you want and in about 4 weeks. The 69 restyle was a success for fastbacks with about 132,000 that included the BOSS versions. I like the fastbacks for 65 , 68 , 69 and 70 ....after that the horse broke a leg and was shot to end up at the LePages glue factory as headlinder paste for insulation strips or the windshields . The BOSS 351 was too late for the 71 body and would have been nice Option in 1970 right above the BOSS 302 .

Reminds me of my friend's 2000 WS6 Trans Am. We took the skip shift out for easy driving at slower speeds (manual trans) and I drove it to check it out with him in the passenger seat and his son in the back. Said: "You mind if I get on it a little?" "Go for it". Got on the road near my house and smoked the tires in first, bang shifted to second still spinning the tires, then hit third and eased off to stop at the traffic light 1/4 mile away. Their eyes had glazed over! "THIS is the way this car should drive!" said I. Too bad his (B-with an itch) wife made him sell it before I knew about it or *I* would have bought it!

My dad had a 67 Dodge Monaco Wagon with 440 and every available option. It was built specially for George Love, the president of the Chrysler Board of Directors, to take him by driver to the 67 expo in Montreal from Pittsburgh. My dad picked it up in 1968 from the regional manager of Dodge in Pittsburgh. My dad LOVED that car. Awesome car with tons of power...passed everything but a gas station. My older sisters still talk about that car! I think it may have been an HP 440 car as it was specially built.

Fun story about my brother-in-law who got a '69 Mach I when he graduated high school. The way the story goes, he first test drove a 428. Apparently, as he was getting on a highway on-ramp the salesman told him to punch it. The car came onto the freeway sideways. He ended up with a more sedate 351 Cleveland. Anyways, he drove it for a few years and, after marrying my sister and having a kid on the way, he decided they needed something more practical. So, in the spring of '76, he got rid of the Mustang..........and bought a Pacer. It's been over 40 years and we still make jokes about that. But in the AMC's defense, as homely as it was, it did everything they needed it to do and never left them stranded in over well 200K miles. The biggest reason they got rid of it was that the Kansas City winters had taken their toll.

Loved the video, Nick! You don't see classic cars from the 1950-60's anymore on the road. This was a treat!

I'm happy to see someone who knows old Mopars. It's good to see the classic muscle but I enjoy seeing the other classics too. The Rambler, the 300, the Fury convertible. Not muscle cars but classics all the same. 🙂

Nick ;😭😭😭 I miss my Mustangs. I have owned a 65 289 hi PO t-10 4spd, Detroit locker rear. And 2 1970 coupes. 1) was 351 hi po Cleveland. 11-1/2 hi compression. 2) was 302 2v 3spd automatic Re jet carb, bigger radiator, dialed engine in on oscilloscope. Could put a glass of water on air cleaner at idle with hardly any ripples in the water. Friend gave me an entire mach 1 interior which I installed. It was a medium blue. God I loved that car. No one believed it was a stock 302. Would shift manual. Hit 60mph in 1rst, bark second, chirp 3rd. Lost to a 326 tempest 4v, but not by much. Great memories just thought I'd share here. Thanks for letting us into your shop! As always awsome cars. Would like to see a 70 cuda, that's my faveorite Plymouth. God bless!

You can tell Vasilli is a true car guy... when he steps out of a car and closes the door, he almost always, from what I see, closes the door by the handle, and doesn't just slap his hands on the outside of the door leaving greasy hand marks. Might be a little thing, but to me, that attention to care for a car is one of the little things that makes a true car guy stand out.

Nick: I REALLY enjoy watching your videos!!! I hope to come up there next year and visit you and the guys at your shop. I’m a Mopar man myself: in 1967 my older brother bought a new 67 Barracuda fastback with a 383 and four speed and I’ve been a Mopar faithful ever since. Enjoy your vacation!!!!

Nick got back from Greece really quick Couldn't wait to get workin on cool cars that look sick! Vasily's getting busy Working on a Mach 1 but I wish he could work on my old M3 He'd have to use metric tools The Germans operate under different rules Ha treating us all like fools! What I really like is the old school muscle and a stop light tussle but to get cars this good I'd have to get on a shuttle and jump a puddle If I was in the market I'd buy from you guys Cuz I know I could start it! Big Shout out from London to Nick and the crew I always enjoy tuning into you!

That’s a nice Mustang, I’m not a Mustang guy, but I could live w that 69, the new one is awesome too, I have a 18 E43 AMG, different world, but that 67 Chrysler is gorgeous , like my 73 Grand Prix w a 455, or fast but muscular and a loaded cruiser, big comfortable gas burner, needs Nick to work on it, Nick should have a contest, let one of his viewers win free shipping, and we pay labor and parts, hope you enjoy vacation buddy, go relax

Man, that's 1 clean convertible (couldn't believe it when you lifted the hood) l hope a 66 lmperial convertible finds it's way to your shop...Nick, that car was the top of the heap & real "pararde" car...l like the green motor with the studs - it looks like it will do something in an aggressive way...l remember the green 283 & liked the easy revs & respectable numbers for what it was...you get quite a few mustangs in your shop...1 day l just know you're going to get a flat plane crank "Voodoo" motor (Mustang GT 350) when that thing goes to the Dyno room - whole different set of numbers...another good video Nick...keep em' coming - l watch em' all

Nick you have to drive those new high revving mustangs like you hate them. An old 440 loves to be power shifted at 5000 but a new gt350 wants to smash the next gear at about 8000 rpm!
