1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28: Muscle Car Of The Week Episode 274
1967 saw the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro, and by mid-year, a hot one called the Z/28 was offered. Z/28 was option code for the Special Performance Package, which packed a high-revving 302 V8, 4-speed manual, 12-bolt rear, 15” wheels, and other upgrades into a basic Camaro turning it into a Trans Am inspired road racer. This one is nearly new, with just over 7,000 miles on the clock. From The Brothers Collection.

Had a 67 that I rescued from a junkyard back in 1973. Needed a lot of body work from rust in both rear quarters and front end work. It had a 250-3 speed on the floor. Traded a set of wheels at a different junkyard for a 327/4v. (those were the days!!) Put 13” Corvair rims with the center 5 lug from the original 14 inch wheels welded in. Some 50 series 14” that stuck out WAY too far and a pair of Hi-Jackers on back. Had a ball with that car and even won a couple of races with it at the track. Great times.

I own one of the 67 l 79 cars built in may at norwood. Supposedly only 21 were built.200 were built in California. Mine was raced for years, but never cut on and always out of the weather.

We need both, survivors to show how they weathered time, and restored to show what they looked like new.

Another great vid!! I would not restore that car, leave it as-is. Low mile unrestored cars are rare, and they are only original once. If the car is a ratty rust-bucket, then yes, restore it!
