1967 Camaro SS 396 L78 (now 462 with strab 288/300 cam) warm idle. Headers are M/T Super Scavengers . 195 degrees Robert shaw thermostat. My phone doesn't have the best sound recording.

I’ve seen 1,000s of cars in my time. Yours, my brothers and maybe 1 other I have seen in person or video (not pics) with the factory traction bar rear end They are really rare

@@josebetancourt831 my Brothers isn’t a SS but it’s a conv and when I ran the numbers many years ago it said it’s a factory 6 cyl car (if I rem right). I’d like to run the numbers again one day sure I could a miss read it but also of course coulda been a swap. He got it with a 327/275hp 2 speed power glide and that rear in 1984. Love your car!
Couldnt tell if it still had solid lift cam? Amazing how GM could use one with over 240@050 and still sounded tame Love the old day 2 look and vintage sun gauges

Right now it has a Straub GTA 288/300 hydro roller, 3521 crank, forged rods, forged pistons, 077 heads, 198 intake, 3910 holley.

@@josebetancourt831 Nice!! Familiar with straubs grinds. Bet she runs well..what Id give for another 1 gen camaro. Love to have one as a daily now that Im retired but the prices...holy smokes.
