1966 U.S. Marine Corps. Tractor Aircraft Towing / Aircraft Tug / Aircraft Ground Support Equipment / Aircraft Pull and Push Tractor. This 1966 TD-4595 aircraft tug was manufactured by Gar Wood Industries of Hillsdale, Michigan, under contract to the US Navy. This is an earlier driving video before we figured out that you can change the speeds and the steering on the fly, and it may seem that we're just driving around having fun (which we were) however, we were trying to show that all the functions work. If you'll watch closely, you can see that it runs in low range and in high range, crab steering, 4-wheel steering and just front wheel steering. Also, we showed the gauges while it is running to show that it has good oil pressure, good air pressure, coolant temperature and that it is charging.
