In this second video, we get the Mustang body onto the Honda chassis and tackle a majority of the necessary fabrication work. The car is 80% done.
I'm lucky to have great, skilled friends to wrench with me along the way!
We're taking my 1500lb, 400ish horsepower 1996 Honda Civic go-kart with a turbo B-series and dropping a ratty 1965 Mustang body onto it. This will be the first V-tec, front wheel drive classic Mustang in existence.

I’m a 61 year old mustang man. Have my 66 going on 42 years now. Nice seeing young dudes fabricating. Looks good. Not hating. Using any old mustang parts for Hot rodding I’m down with. COOL 😎

I agree 100%. It is sad how some of the younger generation is mainly wasting their lives away. I would have never swapped it with a Honda but im all for swapping these bodies over to newer chassis. At least he is doing something productive instead of some of the others in his generation.

It is very nice seeing the younger generations do this and get the joy out of fabrication and fixing old stuff. It's a lot of work, but it's well worth all the work. This is a mustang purists nightmare going on to a Honda frame. But we will see what they do. I hope it's at least rear wheel drive in the end.

I’m 62 yrs old, had my 66 mustang for 43 yrs still have fun in it, can’t wait until late spring to bring it back out. I enjoyed seeing the young man transform his stang, loved their creative fabrication work. The front end and trunk deck did it for me, way cool…when he gets it painted oh boy I can only imagine how those body looks he’s are going to pop out 👍🏾
Here's what's funny. When I was in my teens and 20's (aka when I was your age) I was a purist. This would have made my blood boil. As I got more into real hot rodding and building I earned absolute respect for builds like this. The vision, the fabrication, and the time spent with friends. It wasn't until I was almost 40 that I realized how awesome wrenching with buddies is. I'd always worked alone. We built a shit box and took it endurance racing and it's the most rewarding thing I've done in a car. Keep cranking out stuff like this. It's perfect.
I'm an old guy but it's so cool seeing you young guys carrying on the tradition of hot rodding but with the young age twist to it ha a classic mustang on a Honda never would have thought of that good going guys

He turned a legend into a hannda he didn't even put a good motor into it ugly its sad to see what these girls do to a car that's older than half their family would of rather seen it roting with pride it's a pusstang
I just came across this channel by happenstance. Great to see young guys doing car fabrication and trying out new ideas. Keep up the great work!
The Civic under it can still be made to AWD with mostly bolt on parts from S1 Built or similar stuff.. turbo, AWD, with one of the most iconic American body!!??? Huh? C'mon, huh?? all the massaging that you've done so far looks great. Waiting for part 3..
I really hope this build gets recognized by B is for Build, having this alongside their body swapped Mustang would be so cool! Loving the build so far

Vehcor is probably doing the nicest body swap mustang. I like this Honda/stang, it's not pretentious nor trying to be and looks like they are genuinely having fun building it. B is for build stuff is just hackfuckery and halfass unfinished cowboy sh!t claiming so much achieving fk all. All the sponsors in the world and hardly anything "finished", unless he fobs off work to proper shops lol

@@darianistead2239 damn bro that's harsh I love that channel but I do see a little where your coming from they do have a hard time finish a project they get right there and then just move on to the next but I don't agree that there work is hackeryor do e bad though again I do agree they make big claims and rarely achieve them like a thousand horsepower car that I never seen dynoed over 400 but they still do some bad ass projects I mean come on the first Lambo was sick and even this new dirt Lambo no one els has built a hand built Lambo on YT
Giving that Mustang a proper chassis. Genius
This is the definition of hot rodding. Hot rodding evolves with the time. There will be a day when old timers are rodding their 2006 focus focus into flying machines. Respect to the work and progress 🙏 🙌 💪 💯 %
An AWD conversion like what Motion Auto has done and the Boosted Boyz are doing would be super cool on this. Awesome build 👌

Dude I watched the first video and was like wtf. After watching episode 2 you guys are very talented fabricators. Definitely will subscribe. I look forward to seeing this completed and future projects.
Say bruh, you guys amazed me with this build. You've done one helluva job. I don't know you guys personally but I'm proud of you. Keep up the good work. Thanks for a great interesting video with great content. Peace
Absolutely incredible Tom. Love watching the build progress 🙌
This is one of the reasons why I love KZread. Finding videos where someone can make an awesome “frankinmotor” love it 🚙👍
Every mistake you make on this project makes future ones easier . This is fantastic . Keep on living your dreams .
This is insane ... it will be fun to see the final result :D, keep up the good work. Best regards from iceland🇮🇸
Excited for this build 🔥
I love this. Finally kids getting their hands dirty instead of in the bedroom behind a computer screen.
I have watched alot of car build channels but this is far the best channel I have seen
Remember me when your famous bro I’m a supporter from now on this one of the most interesting videos I’ve seen in a while 💯💯 keep this shit up man

This is a very civil build. There are some engineers looking down and smiling with approval.
Really cool to see these younger generation group of guys doing mods such as this. I dont care much for the honda part of it but, its what they have to work with. Im amazed. They have great ideas in what to look for when adding their sheet metal. They have lots of potential (talent).cant wait to see this project finished. Great work guys! From, Old School .
nice job guys!!! but can you imagine going to a mustang show and saying Hey guys like my front Drive Honda Powered 1965 Mustang people would be like Da fuk!!!!!!!
Wow! This is the most exciting build currently on YT. You've done in 2 episodes what took B is for Build 10 episodes. Well done lads!

I’m old . 55 years young . I wish I was you. Young and creative, with a huge workshop 🇬🇧🥇🧐🐎 I’m well impressed.
Please for the love of every thing holy don’t make us wait any longer for part 2, I check every week and can’t stand the anticipation any more!
Looks amazing and is cool as hell man, personally I think you should have reshaped the rollcage by the a pillars so they don't stick out like that
i love this man and everything he does
This is amazing. I'm not a fan of Mustangs or Hondas but I'm a fan of this build! I can't wait to see this car on the road!
This is like "B is for Build" meets Whistlin Diesel. Nothing is sacred. Love it
Nice work!
Love the tack weld look, she's coming together beautifully!
Some pretty awesome designs.Front end looks great.I really had my doubts when I seen that you were putting a Mustang body on a Civic platform. As others have commented,it’s good to see young people like you hot rodding.
What a great use of a rusty coupe. When you chopped the midsection of the nose out to expose the intercooler my 7-year-old was like "dude!!!" Keep it up this is a great build!
I can’t wait for the next update this thing is going to be so dope🔥🔥🔥🔥
I hated this the first 5 minutes , but its actually turning out ,, then it hit me , I know why you’re doing it ,, to have the first ever Mustang that’s dependable lol 😂. Great work guys 👍
Young Maestro! The Force is strong in you. Not built to last but be fast and kick ass!
I like things like this, because you're seeing people think outside the box and coming up with something brilliant
Car looks killer. You look like a little kid but fabricate like an old pro! Nice work.
Great seeing young folks doing this. Reminds me of my youth
Kid you have 1. Imagination and 2. Skills. You have a bright future.
This build is mind blowing, I don’t even know how this channel popped up on my KZread , but I subbed after watching the boomers hating on the car at the show , I don’t know how you could hate on something that took so much time & skills to accomplish. I applaud you guys.
Thats f**kin rad...the world needs more youth like you my man...
I'm a 60 year old motor head. Lol This is a brave undertaking. Alot of thinking has to go into this as well as the surprises that pop up. I'd love to see a 70 to 73 firebird on an ebody. I just love the car ;- )
Awesome job. Can't wait till you guys finish this project!
That’s the kind of content I go to yt for
That's the Real Spirit of Hot Rod Man Good Work, Go On
How amazing!! Good Job. My husband went back to college when he was 40, I got him a 66 fastback all new sheet metal, but the poor man works so much he doesn't ever have time to fix it up. One day we will I hope. I pray to be able to find a 289 or a 350 big block. Preferably a 289 since that is what originally went in it. Looking forward to your channel becoming a huge success as I see it a mile away. Much Love!
I'm a 104 years old Brazilian hot roder... And masutango is the best name i ever have seen
Absolutely loving the new series, keep it up!
I love old Stangs, and this one was on the way to the crusher, you gave it new life and did something totally out side the box...👍👍
Being a welder / fabricator l truly appreciate ur skills and workmanship...l travel a lot building roll cages... tubbing... etc. IM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!✌✌✌✌✌👊👊👊👊
Really nice work, nice fresh approach to problem solving ,and a cool build!
Absolutely incredible work and craftsmanship awesome job young fellas
This is THE BEST content i have seen on youtube ever. I am impressed, i am entertained, and subscribed… this is amazing
No joke, you are one hell of a fabricator young man. Well done on the creation, and the work!
Fantastic! I love that combination of old and new; and the Mustang body lines are so timeless that dropping it on modern technology just gives it more life. Quite frankly, this work you're doing looks better than the early mustang body / newer mustang pan jobs I've seen done! All the stuff you're using just seems to look like it belongs together. I do have a question: Which VIN tag will the final car use? The Honda? Or the Mustang? Great work guys!!
This just popped up on my list and I was intrigued! Man I'm loving this. I'm a new subscriber . Great work guys!
What a fun idea! I'm loving this! Nice work @TOM'S REFURB
I'm a big mustang fan, love how u guys saved that mustang
I'm impressed, excellent creativity and skills. I really like what you did with the hood, front valance and rear spoiler. Subscribed
Super awesome to see young guys thinking outside the box and doing wonders....glad i watched this it was super and cant wait for more..i just liked and subscribed 😎🍺🍺🍺
Nice work Tom, keep recording every single progress of your builds, I don’t wanna miss anything from you guys 😅
Hi Tom. First time seeing your stuff. As a 30 year veteran body man I'm impressed. 😀 And I have an Accord 6mt 6speed coupe. So I'm a Honda man for sure
Your my favorite KZread channel I barely found you a few days ago And you funny and dope asf keep it up!
It looks good that’s what car building is all about trying new things and making it work. Can’t wait to see you drive it on the streets good job
So awesome that you saved that old 65 Mustang, nice video, great work.
I'm very proud of this young man we need more young like him not only cars for other things too. Great work it is good look too see if want do it.
I like what You have done with Your fabrication I think it's just awesome can't wait to see the completed project ! Thanks Best wishes
Being an OG and a Ford enthusiast, I love what you are doing with "re-purposing" the 60s Mustang to the ever popular 90s Honda Civic. I'm a hot-rodder at heart and always ignore any "purists" phony angst over chopping-up, modding one vehicle onto another, especially if any of the vehicles are a coveted icon. Creation and imagination is what I was about but also function and form. I could mention my hybrids from back in the day but this is what I like, youth applying old school craftsmanship to create a vision in metal. Carry on...
Good to see young men building cars.
As much as I want to hate this I can't. Kudos on not being afraid to do something completely different.
I've seen a lot of body swapped over the years. But this is the first that has really caught my attention in a long time. Great work.

Don’t know how I got here but dam happy it happened 😃 the front bumper fab is my favorite part
Man you goes hit it out of the park! You got that mad max theme mixed with the rat rod going on and it looks amazing. When I read the title Honda Civic body swapped with a mustang I much like many guys who seen it shook my head and did not think much of it but damn am I glad I stuck around to see because it's amazing.
keep doing crazy stuff like this and your going places
I've seen several vids of people doing this and you have the best ideas talent and skills I love your design
So fun to watch. You all are masters of the craft.
I love these kind of builds
Can wait to see this all finished and painted!
That's just badass...I like how it's looking 👌

Very creative and unique Mustang.
You guys have very good vision and creativity .Great fabrication👍

HI Tom! At first, I felt like the majority of those guys at the fairgrounds. WHO DID THIS, THIS IS SINFUL!!! But after the build videos man, your work is amazing bruh! I like it a lot. Good stuff for real. I'm liking n subscribing right now! !!
Its Really awesome, i liked the hood and the whole idea of fixing mustangs body over a Honda , its really amazing to see the dots getting joined.
Impressive! Thank you for sharing your twisted take for a mustang. Can’t wait to see what else comes out of this garage. *need to get some rivet nuts
