Do you know of any 1965 reverse(pointed 5) being erroneously minted with the "Laureate" obverse??? NOTE: i am researching a post shared in a coin forum i am a member of... i make no claim that it exists or that i have one of said coins, just trying to find out if anyone knows of it existing or if the post somewhat "fishy"...

I just pulled some coins out of my pocket and found a 65' Canadian with a poited 5. Haha so i checked google and youtube and was kinda excited to learn about coins. To bad it wasnt a rare one but ohh well

Hello I have a 1979 Canadian penny with multiple errors both front and back.... I think it is a very rare and a precious coin that I am scared of DIPPING IT to clean.......This coin have rare teardrops on queens eye... A rare DOT at the corner of lips.... extra metal on queens throat.....double die D.G. Regina...double die Elizabeth...for the rear_ A double die date 1979....die clash on rim ring & dots....... this is circulated coin....I will appreciate any help or opinion....Thank you WNN...great video clips on Canadian coins...thank you.

@@worldnumismaticnews Next to the H beneath the wreath. I rec'd a response from someone and showed him pic's and this was his response I would love to know about this coin. Person's response after looking at my pic's it's not of any value because it's not in good shape at all but this is what he saw. Not taking anything from (another persons response) he did a great job, but do you see the little H mm at the bottom of the wreath? There are only 9 Victorian dimes with the H mm and they were minted between 1871-1890. If you look hard, you can see the 8 as the second digit (18xx) referring to my pic's.

Hey there, I looked at your coin and I'm sorry to say but I completely agree with the auctioneer's assessment that the coin is in fact not genuine. In my opinion both the coin and the slab are forgeries. Ignoring the condition of the slab for now, the actual label is formatted incorrectly. Out of the many problems the biggest is that PCGS would not give a "Genuine" designation and a numerical grade to the same coin. The Certification number is real, but belongs to the Boyd/Legend specimen which is the only MS63+ 1794 Flowing hair dollar that PCGS has ever certified. That is a known coin and we have images of it on file, with specific die markers and wear patterns that your coin does not share. I could go on, but the result remains the same - IMO both the coin and the slab are forgeries. Sorry I didn't have better news for you.

Could tell us 1970 to 1979 n 1980 to 1989 canada coins. Thanks.
