It is comments and attitudes as the one below that is tearing the entire muslim brotherhood apart all over the world. Once we hate on each other's beliefs we will only be separated, which exactly what our enemies want. The concept of Ummah (The Muslim Community) is in the Quran. So, if you hate on your brothers and sisters you are not following the Quran. Furthermore, it doesn't matter what anyone believes but the FACT REMAINS A FACT. Mowlana Shah Karim Al Husseini IS the 49th hereditary Imam of the Ismailis and a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad (sallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) This FACT is not only in Ismaili history but in histories of all of cities where prior Imams lived. From Arabia to Central Asia to Indian Subcontinent and even North America and Europe. So lets make clear that he has never asked his murids for money and he never will. He is there for all of us as all VOLUNTARY contributions and services offered from his murids benefit the rest of the world Also. Remember, Zakat and giving is in the essence of Islam!!

MrN Jiwa Agha khan foundation may provide social and cultural care (I have no real information about it) but the problem lies with the income sources : to make money from races, luxury hotels or banking and then distribute to the poor it is not the way of holy men.
