Lone star : Tell your buddy he did a hell of a job. The hrs are no joke for those who have done and care about every detail. The 6L80E info given is worth it's weight in gold to me......at least now I see what I'm in for. That info is very hard to come by. Hopefully you guys can share your LS mounting strategy.....motor mounts, oil pan , headers etc. Awesome video!! Thanks so much guys!......And good luck on the paint!!!

That’s one hell of a job for sure!!! Your buddy did awesome!!! I’m doing an LS as well and info is hard to come by at times. I’m going with a LS2 or 3 with a 4l60 or 4l80 for reason being it should fit without any mods in the tunnel. BRP muscle rods I have heard are great mounts but they cost way to much. Keep the videos coming. Thanks again!!!

Thats a ton of bodywork, tons of hours gone in to hardly noticed things that the un trained eye won't catch. I like how he has mocked up the frame to body and trunk and all that. So many people dont even bother to do that. and try to mend it later.

The firewall and ac vent holes look awesome! I'm looking to do the same thing on my 64. Did you use a hole saw to cut out the holes for the vents? Did you use the cover that came with the vintage air for the firewall? The ac kit I bought was for an impala with ac so the firewall cover is different from a non ac car. You guys do great work!

Can u put the holes for the vintage air where the fan motor goes? That way u can run the ac lines under the fender & over the wheel well.....

Red raptor liner for the bottom is that similar to rattle can paint for the bottom of body??? I’m debating weather to paint mine same color of car or use rattle can cause Vegas gets hot.

Raptor liner is similar to bedliner or under coating. I believe it is a 2 part and mixes with a harderner. Rattle can spray paint will not produce the results you are after. They sell rubberized under coating in a rattle can. Ive used before. From eastwood. Works good but cant be tinted. I believe raptor liner tints using the actual base coat paint. Look into it. Kits come with guns to spray. Personally never used it but i plan to in future. Painted floor pans is more for show cars...where i live. It wouldnt hold up 100 miles
