Wow is this a looker! Sleak lines and it has the roadster kit and wire wheels. We sold this car to a gentleman about 10 years ago. We just bought it back from his estate. It is an older restoration that.
EXTERIOR: The sport roadster package includes a lift of tonneau cover that transforms it into a 2 seater. It also includes the chrome wire wheels with spinners. Overall this car will turn heads and impress onlookers but it's not pristine. The body overall is straight and clean. The body panels fit square. The Brittany blue is a beautiful color and this one has a smooth glossy clear coat. There are 2 blisters on drivers lower door corner and on the trunk lid. The chrome is shiny and straight, looks new from 5 feet away. The retractable top is a cool feature. People will gather to watch it transformation. With one switch the lid opens, unfolds, the top comes out and the lid closes again. The roadster tonneau does not interfere with the top. The convertible is white in overall good shape with 1 small tear.
INTERIOR: It is just as sporty inside. It has bucket seats with a center console that wraps right into the dash. Unique four round with gauges and of course the iconic swing away steering wheel. The seats are upholstered in actual soft leather. The door panels are in good shape and has the knife handle door openers. Thunderbird floor mats on the floor. The rear seat is fully functional when the tonneau cover is lifted off. It has power windows.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 390 motor runs smooth and it has 300 horsepower. Features include power steering and power brakes. It looks proper and respectable. The metal is clean, has new hood insulation, washer bag, stickers, fan shroud Etc. The battery is bolted down, has new cables and a disconnect. The choke tube is still hooked up.

Jay, your presentations are honest which is rare. The car speaks for itself. The 1961-63 and the 1964-66 are the most beautiful Thunda-Birds ever built. Thank you for showing this magnificent memory.

I like the way the platform moves around because it reminds me of the Bert Weinman Ford TV commercials WGN-TV used to run in the 1960's and 1970's.😊

Notice the beauty in the rear end as they designed the bumper into the tail light trim. Slick!

I have always loved the Thunderbirds, and this one is a beauty. And I like the fact that it is not a Trailer Queen, but a good quality Driver that you could go out and enjoy, and not have to worry about it as much! By the way Jay, that $36,000 that the guy spent after he purchased the vehicle from you....it probably went into replacing the upholstery with that all leather interior, LOL!!

Beautiful 64 classic ... literally! These era of T-Birds are indeed classics. I owned 2 T-Birds back to back, and were two of the nicest cars I've owned. This color is very nice for the style. I'd like to commend Mr. Grams again that, in going over the appointments of the cars offered by Volo, he seldom omits calling out occasional 'flaws or imperfections', but nevertheless, he is always up-front and honest in their mention. A point worth noting regarding integrity and character. (No, I'm not a PR person, nor engaged in sales at Volo) Lol ..... It's simply one of the very first things that I noticed about his presentations. Anyway, a great looking 64 Bird, and exremely well priced. Thnx again for evrything!

From what I can see it's gorgeous. Other than that, the previous owner spent 38k, but neglected to switch to disc brakes at least in the front? Oh well at least its got leather seats! Also, why couldn't we see the top fully close in the video? Because Jay said he was going to demonstrate where it hit the fiberglass sport trim on the top left when it was closed, but he apparently forgot. Anyway, I sense there's an issue with the top operation(?). Am I going to run over and buy it? Probably not. I'll shut up now. Really, it's a beauty though 😊

We simply had to stop it because we didn't think we had the overhead clearance for it to keep folding out. It got awfully close to the light tubes.

Surprisingly it was a $400+ option. Quite a bit at the time. People used to think if you had a convertible you didn't need a/c especially in areas with short summers.

Why would you not operate the top outside were we could see it work properly?? It's cool for realz, but clearly your hiding something with this beauty. 🤔

We aren't "hiding something". It didn't have the clearance inside and we didn't think to outside I guess. You are welcome to believe otherwise but the top works and we hope the new owner loves it!

Can't see crap on your vids...take it outside to film so the cameraman can get close enough to show us what your talking about & so you can get the tops up & down on the convertibles! ☹
