A TR4 and TR4A look almost identical. The A has a different grille and side lights and flashing. In Europe the A had IRS as standard equipment but in North America a live axle option. Apparently North American buyers preferred the live axle.

I still remember seeing my 1st BRG TR4A about 54 years ago!! It was such a cool sports car. The wooden dashboard, color and tight cockpit was a dream!
