1962 Johnson 10 hp Outboard on the water!!!

1962 Johnson 10 hp outboard motor. This is a piece of American history when ingenuity and craftsmanship took the forefront. My opinion these motors were out run new motors night and day and with a little bit of love and preventative maintenance they probably will run forever. Not only are they lighter and weight but a lot less complicated to work on and easy to maintain.

    60 years old and the engine itself looks as good as new! Amazing.

    There is nothing better than running a vintage outboard, they are so elegant to look at but also the performance they give. I have several vintage (depending on who's opinion), that I mount on my vintage Grumman Sports Boat and one of those is my 66 Evinrude 3hp folding motor. Gracias for sharing.
