1960 Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race in colour

Go to 3:58 for the boat race in colour, as the film starts with crew practice in black & white. A detailed description of this film and the people shown is in the Hear the Boat Sing online rowing journal here: heartheboatsing.com/2017/07/0...
My father, Adrian Stokes, was one of the coaches for Oxford that year. With his Super-8 cine camera, the film begins in March 1960 with his crew practising on the Tideway, and then in colour the race itself on 2 April. Travelling in the Oxford launch boat, he filmed the race plus the surrounding scenery, onlookers and characters, not least Princess Margaret and her husband-to-be Antony Armstrong Jones who were following in the Cambridge launch (see 6:24 and 11:17). Armstrong-Jones had coxed Cambridge to victory in 1950.
