I really wanted to love this since the large screen would be great in tight area's . However it's not very handy in auto mode and you can't turn that off. I got one of these yesterday and tested it repairing the electrical system on a car. The issue is since it's auto selecting and there is no manual way to set it to voltage testing the delay in auto mode makes this useless for my intended usage . I went to test a fuel pump by attaching the leads into the pumps power pigtail . When the meter is connected it detects the resistance in the wires and starts to measure it. When i turn the key to send power to the pump the meter detects it , lags then only shows the voltage for a split second because the vehicle will only send power to prime the pump for about 1-2 seconds. Not only is the voltage shown for a brief time the delay make it inaccurate as the vehicle is turning off the power by the time it switches over. Why would you build a device to give accurate readings but then force it to depend on an auto mode?

For your application its indeed better to have a fast old needle multimeter or a little oscilloscope

Dear sir, when I want to measure A 12 V amperage, the fuse always blows (factory included 2 A). The instrument is designed to measure up to 10 A, so it is not clear to me what is wrong. Greeting

Please read a bit more about the difference between voltage and current(amps) then it will become clear why you blow your fuse. small give away. current you measure in between the circuit as part of the loop.

I don't get these meters. The auto feature is a gimmick to me, and the large display hardly shows extra information. The lack of ranges (especially in the current range) and the fact that current is only detected from 20mA makes it useless for electronics. For roughly the same money Aneng has much better meters like the an8009 or the an870. Not having a kickstand, (impossible because the 4mm sockets are on the underside) makes it useless on a bench and there also isnt a probe holder for 1 hand operation. So imho these kind of meters have been designed with so many concessions in usability and functionality just the to have a higher gimmick factor that they are a joke for the more trained user and only appeal to the novice user who doesn't know what to look out for in a multimeter. If I may ask: is this a paid review?
