This was my mom when she was 16 years old. She passed away on May 24th, just two days after her 80th birthday.

Thank you for sharing. I am looking for more episodes of the Spade Cooley Show. My Parents performed skits that my dad wrote for the show. My mom, depending on the year, was either Virginia Lee or Tulara Lee and my father may have used George Gilbert. Because they had a very successful comedy act where my dad came out to the audience they may not have used their names or got credit at all. They have past and the shows were before my time and I would love to see what they did on the Spade Cooley show and other shows they appeared on. Thank you.

I’m sorry if this is the only Spade Cooley show that I have. They are pretty rare and not very many of them available I don’t think. Thank you for the great memories about your parents and than you for watching.

George Mihal thank you for responding. I know it’s a long shot to find their work and I appreciate you posting what you have, it gives me hope. If you get the chance watch the Daughter Of Rosie O’Grady. The play themselves, “The Virginia Lees” in their most popular act.
