Stacey rolls in a ’59 Ford Stepside Truck that is being built by the Herobox organization to help raise awareness for their goal of sending Heroboxes to all of our men and women serving in the Military. It’s a great cause and a great truck and both need to be seen! The truck has already received a lot of modifications, but Stacey adds his special touch by installing custom wood in the bed, trying out a new roll-on bedliner, and sinking some cool 60’s Corvette taillights into the rear fenders. If you’ve got an old truck and have been wondering how to bring the bed and fenders up a notch…..this show will definitely give you some ideas! After that, Stacey shows you just how important having the proper work table is, and the kind of things you can do if you have one. I always love Stacey David Gears Shows he brings the passion out when talking and building cars. He makes you feel like if you are there helping him on the project. What a great guy. He just gives me motivation when building a project car which I am building a 1931 Model A Coupe open wheel traditional hot rod on a 32 Ford chassis with Ford small block 302. I want to build like a Bonneville Salt flats racer. Its going to look sweet when finished. He and Tim Allen always love to build things with more power.
I like the older pickup trucks, they had style
I love the step side truck beds because they are perfect for putting exhaust stacks on like the Dodge little red express truck

Stacey my dad has owned a few of these old 50's Ford's and I always agreed with him how they were great looking Trucks. I my self love the 57 Ford with a Single round headlights short style side box with the big back wrap around window which I would build a nasty 408 stroked Windsor with Aluminum Australian Cleveland Heads or even those P-38 Heads that you shared on Gears. I would put a 2 tone paint Job white with Metal Flake Green. I would put a straight axle under the front so it would give it that gasser look. Cheater slicks with narrow white walls. I would find some kind of cool nostalgic chrome wheels for it.

I remember you putting the exhaust the same way on your red Dodge truck
I had a 1989 Chevy S10 pickup that I had a Rhino liner put into the bed. I was transforming it into a California convertible, but I got layed off and had to sell my baby in order to survive hard times.
I'm surprised you didn't bedline the inside of the tailgate .
Not many young ladies are working on their own vehicles and restoring old tractors
