1959 Ford Country Sedan Wagon
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
American Muscle Car Museum Owner Mark Pieloch talks about a recent addition to the museum, a 1959 Ford Country Sedan Wagon. Mark goes over the history of the car, some features, and a bit of history about his family and another 1959 wagon.
This wagon is fully restored by 57-59 Ford expert Jerry Miller and is in incredible shape. The two-door wagon is much rarer than its four-door counterpart. Six people could comfortably fit in this two-row car, and even more if this were a wagon with the rear-facing back seat. A 352 V8 powers the car through an automatic transmission.

Beautiful 59. I personally have never seen any 59 Ford 2 door wagons in my forty years of going to car shows. Stunning wagon. Thanks for sharing Mark.
This car was the same as it was then, only, YOU ARE THERE! It was fun to hear Mark Pieloch talk about this fine automobile. Great job, Wonderful, beautiful!
An Incredibly Beauuutiful Car!💕
A real jewel of a car. No wonder wagons are fetching a premium like never before,
Gorgeous car!!! Definitely one of a kind!! ❤😎
Beautiful car, thanks for sharing it with us.
A 2 door Country Sedan? Never seen one before! 2 door Ranch Wagons, yes, but 2 door Country Sedans? What a gem!

The two-door Country Sedan was once known as the Del Rio Ranch Wagon, which was sold in 1957 and 1958
The first car I ever owned was a 1959 Ford 2 door station wagon in a bronze finish. I miss that old car......

I'm sure you could find some in Hemmings publication online... Start clearing a spot in your garage....life is better when you can have some dreams come true! First, I would join a club that covers these specific years of Ford, it's a great way to learn about pros & cons, and who can be helpful with advice and parts if needed. Most antique car clubs have good technical advisers who are happy to teach new members about what issues, good & bad, you should watch for when you start to look at possible cars. Good luck & have a happy Summer.
Stunning restoration of a stunning American car........wow. Les Griffiths
Would have been nice to see the engine
I learned to drive on a 59 Squire 260 V8. What a tank! Great car
Stunning
ive actually met the guys at Jerry Miller and his employees. I had a 59 Retractable, 59 4 door Galaxie, 59 ranchero, 59 Edsel 2 door HT. This was back in the early 2000's

I envy your collection, hope you still have them, or they went to good garages.
LUV IT!
My parents had a 59 country squire. It’s the first car I have memories of. There were 7 kids plus my parents.
Beautiful Automobile 😎👍🏆
one of my dreamcars
i wishd id had car like that
Not only is this two-door Country Sedan equipped with factory air and tinted glass, it is also equipped with power windows! Pause the video at 1:30 and you'll see the buttons on the door. Power windows were rare on any '59 Ford, much less a two-door station wagon!
Another florida man with another crazily beautiful car.
1959 was the only year a 2 door Country Sedan was offered. In 1957 and 1958, Ford did offer the Del Rio Ranch Wagon, which was the 2 door upscale wagon those years. Of course, Ford did offer 2 door Ranch Wagons for many years. I think 1961 was the final year of the 2 door Ranch Wagon, though the 4 door Ranch Wagon was offered through 1974. Not sure about 1975 - I know the Custom 500 4 door returned mid year 1975, but I'm not certain if the Ranch Wagon returned.
Beautiful and rare, being a 2-door. Wish it was a Mercury with lots of power options.....but still thanks for posting this. It's a well presented video and you picked a beautiful wagon!

Ah....just noticed the power windows!!! I love it even more!!
Beutiful color combination on that wagon. Wow. Station wagons are an under-represented and under-recognized cars. Wish we had them today instead of their bulbous cousins with big fat high end rears and road blocking results. Lower and longer, baby!
Ultra Rare for sure !
In my country Malta 10 cars of this model was used like hearses for ages
i knew some one who had one just like that in red and white
My parents had the same year car except 4 door.
Beautiful car, equally rare power windows. Never liked those big spotlights though, they always ruin the line of the car.

I didn't even notice them.

Falcon664.....yeah spotlights can be awkward on style, but handy if you're trying to be careful with a pristine antique, parking it in the dark after a cruise or going to someone's driveway you're unfamiliar with.
Did it leave the factory with power windows or is that an upgrade from later? Nice touch either way.
I hear Boston
How much would that wagon cost ?
I like your accent! Please tell me where you are from.

Being from Massachusetts, I myself will guess the presenter is from Maine.
It's a so wonderful car! I hope we here in Germany thinking everyone, that not only the Sport Cars and Pony Cars come here on! In Austria the Poeple loves US Cars but here in Germany, it's ashamed then the most Cars on the 60,s and 70,s was not a little bit luxerie like the US Cars in the World! I don't know!
Parents had 4dr, but wiil be rusty at rear wheel wells.

Nah it’s a country sedan. I also have a 59 2 door country sedan.
Would have liked more shots of the interior, seats, dashboard, instruments AND the engine. Poor video.
More on the wagon less on your shitty pram, how about the motor?..
