I was 3 years old in '59. There were still some of these beautiful machines on the road when I was a little kid growing up in the 60s.

Mine was an all white convertible with red interior. The car rode as nice as it looked and it's big downfall was that it never could pass a gas station. I got 9 mpg in the city or doing 70 on the interstate.

That sucks. It's to bad you tube didn't exist back then. You could have looked at several repair videos and fixed it for just the cost of the parts.

Fantastic sheet metal. Amazing GM only had it for one year, they shoulda kept it longer!

@@johnfrank3642 Yes, they continued the design cycle through 1960 but the sheet metal was all different. Still a nice car though!

I think they kept the same body chassis, though, all the way through 1964.

@@williamwilkins3084 I think you're right. I know Buick had basically the same X-frame used by Cadillac and Chevy from 1957-1964.

@ Randy Block I agree 150% but they would have to able to get about 30 mpg be able to afford to drive them. I was just 3 years old in '59, but these were still on the road when I was a little kid growing up in the 60s! 😉

Does the rear windows roll down on these? Any B-pillarless car needs to have all the windows down for a shot.

Wonderful car but video was a waste of your time. Why bother with a 34 second video. Make a presentation that discusses engineering design philosophy, stand and optional equipment, what this vehicle has, video of complete exterior, interior, engine and trunk. This video is just clogging up KZread space when a more detailed presentation would be more interesting and educational. DISAPPOINTING
