1958 Plymouth Fury Christine At A Car Show
She's big, she's beautiful red, but she's aggressive with a bad attitude when somebody makes her mad. Her name is Christine and she was born bad! Even fire can't stop her madness. She can just go back in her garage and fix all of her dents and paint job all on her own. You know you're in trouble when she starts blasting her 1950s music in her glowing radio!

Gorgeous car! Thank you, Virgil M. Exner Sr. NOT a Fury, it's a beautiful, sexy 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop. All Fury models had gold anodized aluminum sweepspears, grille and detailing, with only one factory color, Buckskin Beige. Other special orders were solid red or solid black and no two-tones. The Belvedere line all had silver anodized aluminum sweepspears on the sides. I owned a 1958 Plymouth Fury in 1968, all original like new. It had the 350-V8 Golden Commando engine with dual quads, and Torqueflite 3-speed push-button transmission. It was very fast.

Thanks… CE e being my Unc,e had a 58 Fury (?)… Anyways :: FURY, ** ail of 58 **PLYMOUTHS!….. 150 MPH SPEEDO, SPECIAL ENGINES, CARBS, INTERIOR TRIMS, 318s HIGH PERFORMANCE, ETC.?. I have lost track of 58 Plymouth, etc.

Half the real Furies out there are made up to look like Christine, so it's hard to call them out on sight. Especially since Christine actually looks like a Belvedere.

@@tubbs2132 I wonder who'd do that, though, on such a super rare car instead of just taking the more plentiful Belvedere that is already 99% like the car they want with much less need to do anything with it other than remove model badges. Making a Fury not look like a Fury is almost vandalism in my book.

As the 58" Plymouth Fury is my dream car, I have seen so many of them and I gotta say this is the cleanest Plymouth I have ever seen. There's many in mint condition and this is just better. That car a beautiful

@@DemonhunterPaul Let's set this straight for the millionth time across this channel. They used Fury's, Savoy's and Belvedere's in the movie. The Original Car, Including the one that made it out into museum is a Fury. In the movie, they used Multiple different types of the same car for crushing scenes which is where they used the savoy and belvedere but Christine herself, The one that's in museum and didn't get smashed, is A Fury. Some of you need to look more into the movie

Other then the black on the seats (just wrong color combination) it's absolutely gorgeous.
Few cars will ever hold such incredible beauty of great character and Style especially the movie she was starting in and for the record according to the making of Christine there were 24 cars made just like a only two and captivity today still exist in perfect condition
The biggest mistake of the film's producers were to have said that Christine was a Fury 58, but the car is a BELVEDERE '58, the Fury had small differences like the writing "Fury" on the side and the chrome trim on the fuel tank open, and only came out in White, unlike the Belvedere, which even came in Red with a white roof O R I G I N A L L Y.

Exactly right ! christine was a Belvedere not a fury although i believe the film makers used a couple of furys and modified them to look like the belvedere for some scenes ..i havent bothered to look it up online while posting this comment plus im from the UK not the U.S so if im wrong then apologies

No, it was originally a Fury. They used Fury's, Belvedere's and Savoy's. There was 3 different types used to recreate that car in the movie since they smashed so many, However the Original AND the last one which is currently in museum, is a 1958 Plymouth FURY Every car was painted and changed around to look exactly like a red and white Fury. It is true that the Fury back then were never red and only white, but that was the entire thing in the beginning where it shows the car on factory line being the Only Fury to ever be painted red, amongst many white cars behind and in front of it

@@Anonymous_Music knowing this, I like to think that she likes to mess with people’s minds as to if she is actually a Fury, Belvedere, or something similar. And since she’s supposed to be a heck spawn on wheels, that can regenerate herself, she could most likely change small details of herself to drive (pun intended) detail focused car fans crazy! She does love taking control of whoever her owner is, and messing with their friends and family…as well as…deleting anyone she deems bothersome…so I wouldn’t put it past her to intentionally get random people or car guys all frustrated by making it difficult to accurately identify the exact make and model she is. Plus…wouldn’t it add more to the mystery if Christine was a car that not everyone could agree on the make and model of? She may be a 1958 Plymouth Fury…but she could change her appearance ever so slightly to resemble other similar Plymouths, specifically to mess with people’s minds and sanity!

Look at that shit. He puts a new set of wiper blades on a busted windshield. Kid did all this in 3 weeks. The boy does have good hands. GOOD HANDS!

You know come to think of it, I'm pretty all the Plymouths in the factory at the start of the movie were all white except for Christine.
My dads very first car was a 1958 Belvedere but it was black and silver.

This is Christine as much as Christine in the movie wasn't a Fury - it had the trim of a Belvedere but no Belvedere callout on the rear fenders where it would say Fury or Belvedere or Savoy or Plaza. The Fury would've had gold anodized spear inside - not silver like this "Belvedere". Good job on this "hybrid" movie car. 🚙
