Restored Castle Castings air raid/flood warning siren being tested on full power. Siren restored by Mr Cruse of Dagenham, London.

    Yet another early one saved and is a nice example of a late 50s heavyweight Castles. gone to a good home enjoy!

    Hi Yes i am the same and am glad u powered yours up as it probably needed a run lol. I think unless you use the siren late at night or very early in the morning i cant see a problem unless you have bad neighbours. This signal is not used in Essex Norfolk or anyware in the south east now so it is not going to cause a false panic anywhere,as i have let mine off a lot and never hit the headlines. Keep them going and will be unleashing my latest project on utube in the near future.

    Basically for non- Brits any british 12/10 dualtone airraid motor syren are called Carter s yeah there are manufacturers xD😊😊
