Amazing car. I live the picture with the dog. Notice the love and strength of the country was represented by an American Pit Bull Terrier.

Great showing of the Cadillac, just forgot to show how to open the gas tank at the left side taillight. I use to get a kick out of watching the gas station attendant trying to find it, then daddy would get out and show them. Thanks for the memories.

Most instant popular body style in 1956, outselling 4 door pillared sedan and Coupe DeVille.

Hello from Detroit!!! I have one myself. It's also a single family owned vehicle. It has spent most of its life in California. 74.5K Miles. They were built right here in Detroit. On the cowl, you'll see the metal stamp with the style, body, trim and paint numbers. Awesome vehicle!

Freakin mint!! If these had 60s mechanicals in them from the factory theyd be a total winner.

Beautiful but that car should be near silent. Vintage Cadillacs should sound as they were designed.

The springs have sagged. Needs helper shocks to restore correct ride height.

what is an 'actual mile', as opposed to a non-actual mile?

You can make out the original price on the bill of sale. It's about $6600. Just for fun, I checked what that would be worth in 2018 dollars. That's a pretty expensive car then and now.. $6,600 in 1956 adjusted for inflation =$61,144 in 2018. A buck just ain't worth a buck anymore. It's worth 10 cents compared to 1956.

Leaf springs? On a Cadillac? My grandfather's 1956 Buick Special had coils. Nevertheless, a really nice old car.

What’s that weird looking thing on the dashboard? To the left of the steering wheel...looks like a rear view mirror? Obviously it’s not because it’s inside the car...what the heck is that thing?
