I don't see how the 1953 World Series is considered the Golden anniversary of the Fall Classic when there was no Series played in 1904?

Brooklyn pitchers aren't pitching from the pitching rubber. They are in front of it.

THIS IS WHY I AM A YANKEE FAN TO THIS DAY THE YANKEES USED TO KICK THE DODGERS BUTT MY FATHER SAID THAT DODGERS GOT LUCKY IN 1955 THEY WON BECAUSE MANTLE WAS HURT AND HE DID NOT PLAY IN GAME 7 THAT THEN THE DODGERS & GIANTS MOVED TO CAILFORNIA MY FATHER WAS BORN IN 1920 HE SAID NYC WAS THE KINGS OF BASEBALL YANKEES #1 DODGERS #2 GIANTS #3 KENNETH0

I say Kenneth, they're even with the injuries, yes Yankees won a lot vs Dodgers in those days, but if you look on the Dodgers World Series wins list, the team they have beaten the most out of their current 7 titles is against the Yankees.

Yankees make it 5 World Championships in a row in Casey's 1st 5 years managing the Yankees and as the ole professor would say " you can look it up"
