A couple years later, Naples and the rest of Italy was blanketed by one of its heaviest snowfalls ever. Snow is very rare in Naples, happening once every decade or less. The last snowfall was in 2018, and almost nobody remembers when the last one was before that

Unbelievable! The first Italian movie in color was released in 1952, so this must have been made with one of the very first color cameras available. I had never seen how those streets looked like in color back then, but now I did. Things seem to be more similar to today when you see them in color, even though they changed so much in reality. I recognize every single street, but they were much cleaner back then and people used to dress way more differently than today. Unfortunately, it's not possible to travel in time so this is the closest we can get to that 🤣 I would love to go back to that time, just to feel how it was. PS: "Macario" was a famous comedian. The sign you can see in the very first scene was sponsoring his show in the "Metropolitan" theatre. It was really strange to read his name on a sign I could see in color. I guess that's what I would feel if I would be able to time travel and see things in color that I've always seen in black and white. Thanks so much for this video!
