I thought you'd like a look at this very cool 1951 Ford Victoria 2 dr Hardtop Hot Rod. It's powered by a nicely detailed and rebuilt flathead V8, backed by an automatic trans. The exterior is looking really slick in two-tone and features a lot of custom pinstriping. This would make one great weekend cruiser. I hope you find it interesting....thanks for watching!

A buddy of mine returned from Korea and bought one just like that , except his was manual shift with overdrive. His also had the Continental kit . That was one of the sharpest looking cars I've ever seen.

I actually sold it to a guy in Oregon, he sent me back a few pictures a year later of it fully restored. It was really cool.

Looks amazing, this hardtop bodystyle is my favorite from this era of Ford. I prefer original or restored cars to modified ones, but the mods are tasteful, this one really looks great. Thanks for filming it!

Nice car. My dad had one when I was very young and had the fordomatic drive also. First year for an automatic in a Ford. If I remember correctly the shift indicator lit up a different color for each gear selection. This was a Borge Warner transmission, air cooled and had 3 forward speeds although it started in second unless you floored the gas from a standstil then it would start in 1 then go to 2 then 3. Much smoother than a hydramatic and quicker than a powerglide of the same year.

Wow! What a decked out car! Ford like Mercury for 1951 seems to have expanded its use of bright metalwork for the front grill area. It's kind of surprising that Ford debuted a hardtop before Mercury did. However I think that Mercury also began to offer a true hardtop with its new body style for 1952. It's kind of unusual to see an automatic transmission in this Ford since this was the first year Ford and Mercury offered one (Lincoln used Hydra-Matics prior to 1951). All in all an impressive look at Ford's top of the line offering for 1951.

Very nice car (though personally I'm not a fan of the side pipes, the Continental rear end, and the pin striping. The car was an attractive design for the time without these options). I'm old enough that I remember occasionally seeing Tudors and Customlines but don't remember the Victoria.

Hello, My name is Teresa Scott and I am in search of my fathers first car, a 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe 2 door coupe with a flathead V8 and 3 speed straight shift on the column. The original color was baby blue. He then completely customized it in 1957. My father is turning 80 in December and I would like to at least have a picture of this car to give him at his party Dec. 07. He sold it around 1959-1962 in Lima, Ohio. Can you help with this? The following are the customization's he did to the car in hopes this information will help find the car if its still around. I am afraid I do not have the VIN number. Painted it black and white/ installed seat covers(black & white)/painted all the interior metal trim black and side panels black and white/ added fender skirts on rear and painted all wheels black/added Olds Starfire wheel covers/ removed several emblems on side and trunk, hood ornament/ replaced muffler with a glass pack type/lowered the rear of the car 4 inches at the axel/ cut the bottom of the steering wheel off/ added exhaust cutout/moved the shift lever to the opposite side/modified the dash to add a hidden compartment/ wired hidden switch on tail lights, brake lights and license plate light. Yes, he was a bit of a rebel. Ended up retiring as Fiber Optic Engineer. Turns out he had a genius IQ. lol Any suggestions to help me find this car would be greatly appreciated!! Sincerely, Teresa Scott teriscott1966@gmail.com
