After two lengthy stays at the shop for an engine rebuild and bunch of other stuff, the '51 Ford is ready to spend the summer and fall cruising!
That means it's time for a wash and reapplication of the boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits protective coating, aka homemade "patina juice." This stuff really brings out the deep, rich color of the natural patina, as well as giving it a little shine!
Veeeeerrrrryyy satisfying watching it go on...

Si mi traductor de Google funciona, ¿preguntó sobre el uso de combustible diesel con este camión? Es gasolina normal, aunque le agrego aditivo de plomo.

@@cmlloyd1969 no .. preguntaba a la chapa.... porque acá le ponemos diesel a la chapa para protección...pero quisiera saber el producto de las latas esa que muestra gracias saludos desde Uruguay

@@sebastianarturaola2258 OK entiendo ahora. El "jugo" de pátina es aceite de linaza hervido y alcoholes minerales, aproximadamente en una proporción de 3 a 1.
