1951 Cadillac Fleetwood, For Sale, 2298 HOU, Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this 1951 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60. Powered by what appears to be the 331 CID V8 it came from the factory with (the serial number on the engine matches the VIN tag on the A-pillar), along with what appears to be the Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that it was born with, it's quite evident that this vintage Caddy has been well cared for over 70 years. The engine was professionally removed & rebuilt about 15 years ago and has only a few thousand miles on it since. The Mexican Blue paint on this cool Fleetwood is in remarkable condition for its age, having been resprayed about 17 years ago. The chrome is also in tip top shape and shines brightly in the sun from every angle. During the restoration, the car was updated with a new fuel tank, new fuel lines and pump, a new water pump, new radiator, new coolant hoses and lines, new brakes, conversion from 6 volts electrical system to a 12-volt system, the carburetor was rebuilt, the automatic window mechanisms were rebuilt, and sound deadening material was applied to the floor and undercarriage. Its current owner also added Vintage Air to it within the last 5 years, and a 4-wheel disc brake conversion kit is included for the next owner to install (box in trunk). The interior was also redone during the restoration, with a new headliner, leather seating, and seat belts being installed. The smell of fine leather permeates the cabin, making cruises in this behemoth a real pleasure. If you're looking for a stylin' vintage ride to cruise in, you'll love this one!

Didn’t that music come out in 1951? I think Sinatra sampled it in one of his songs🤔
