If there is one thing i like doing.. its restoring old lionel locomotives! No matter what they are. Bringing something that is trash back from the grave and giving it a second chance! This old 1615 locomotive was very worn out.. Completely seized due to heavy oxidation with in the motor. Not to mention not being able to run for nearly 50 years or so. I was literally pulling shag carpeting from the axels of this thing... However.. As much as id love to record my self restoring these locomotives I just dont have the set up to do so... So this is the next best thing.. I gotta say I love how it turned out in the end. I made a custom Halloween train using extra freight cars and such that were just lying around. I added a green light into the locomotive to add a nice green glow with running! Matches the rest of the train pretty well! Soon Ill be readding its numbers.
