I have been waiting for this video for years. I am so pleased with the outcome, what a great tractor, you can be very proud of how it has turned out. I am so pleased that you have kept the toque grips on it as they are very much of the era that tractor would have been working. There is a chap in Ballarat who makes reproduction Yuba spark arrestors that were so common on these, but the streight pipe sounds sharp. You can hear it has good compression. Wish I could drop in and take it for a spin. It remember when my dad used 2 of these as as his only tractors and the post hole digger set up was very common. All the best, Dave.

Cracking job you have done on the restoration. Sounds great. My major is a 62 and you can see the ancestry. Drove the earlier pre ww2 model at school to cut the playing field. Could only just reach when aged 10 and that was back in the fifties. Thanks for posting best wishes from the UK.

im so impressed with the work you put into the e27n,i worked for a ford dealership from 1969 so am familiar with all fords.just a slight correction, the mudguards are really called fenders and are designed to fend you off from hitting the tyres! the mud was considered of lesser importance ! gppd job though!

You have done a beautiful job on the old lady I was born into one in Ireland, meaning it was there before me and started driving it when I could reach that clutch pedal, bit disconcerting for the neighborhood farm kids from Fergy David Brown etc with I thought clutch pedal on wrong side Why Ford did that?. I have done quite a lot of work and research on them the clutch drag is caused by the oil been wet clutch another Fordson quirk and no clutch brake it will drag and cause gear grind We would overcome it by snapping it into 1st gear and go from there and the power train on them is virtually unbreakable There’s a good Canadian channel bloke does full engine etc rebuild can’t think of the channel name right now Thanks again Good Luck 🍀🍀☘️☘️🇦🇺🇮🇪

Great video, a mate up here in Qld has an identical tractor in his shed & he's asked me to help him try & start for 1st time in decades, that's the reason for finding your channel! That tractor is a real pale blue that looks original & complete apart from missing headlamps..

The gear changihg grinding is probably a worn thrust bearing, have to break tractor in halves to replace it, had to do one back around 1965. tractor looks good.

Would that be a Commer TS3 truck in the back ground?. When I was a kid used to hear them coming from a couple of miles away climbing a hill, we would run to watch and listen, memories!.

Its an Albion Reiver RE29L which is our next project, we've just pulled the tray off of it and are working towards a cab removal. The truck is getting a full resto. Its got a Leyland 400 as its engine so it will be a bit quieter than the 2 stokes.

I'm in my 60s, but when I was younger this tractor was the first one I was solely responsible for maintaining. Lovely to see familiar controls but I can't remember where the ignition switch was. I'd probably be able to say "Ah yes, of course it was there, I remember now" if someone showed me a picture, lol :)
