    The ceramic cartridge does not need a phono stage, install it directly to the amplifier, the ceramic cartridge is directly connected to the aux.

    @@Woodys_Hobbies I have an amplifier, a stereo amp that has a phono stage, does it work as a phono stage, the stereo amp is old, a Nasinval Panasonic 1973 model

    @@samanhaqiqian7314 Check the specs of the built in phono stage of your amplifier. There 3 types of phono stage MM, MC & Ceramic.

    Most ceramic cartrdges need a high impedance load (at least 1 meg; sometimes 2 megs or more) for best frequency response. Only a Very small percentage of "aux" inputs do that. A unity-gain buffer using an FET can markedly improve the results.

    Yes you're right but if you connect directly to aux the sound is very thin no bass especially in a solid state amps. I'm using phono stage intended for a ceramic cartridge.
