Hi and thanks for the video. It's great to see a "legend" running and doing well. I have a 46 CJ2A that I was with my parents when they bought it. Still 6 Volts and has the "go devil" engine like yours. Looks like you did some great work! Again, thanks for the video and best of luck!

Its a CJ body as well It has a tailgate, no tool boxes behind the rear tires, the transmission hump is different for the T90 vs. the ww2 T84 And ot had the cutout for the fuel neck on the side vs. Under the drivers seat I see alot of guys just swap out the front half of the jeep and paint it up Also, the real jeeps didnt have locking hubs, they were full time live axles that were engaged by the transfer case Sorry for an 8 month late reply, I started restoring a jeep and now my feed is all jeeps

Kyle H I’ve owned (and still do) Jeeps since the mid 1960’s and this thing is, well as you indicated some of us think we know what it is but we’re still not quite sure. I see at least 3 different vehicles cobbled together here. I had a Jeep shop for over 2 decades and this thing takes the cake.

Just bought a 71 says Willy on the title pulled over to a gas station and the gas nozzle wouldn't go far enough into the pipe and the gas kept on spitting back out. What's the fix? The gas tank input is driver side rear and seems to be to shallow. It's a four cylinder, and man I couldn't barely get that sucker to do forty anything over she started making a whiney/scream type of noise so I listened...

Bottom line this thing is some weird conglomeration of parts. MB’s stopped production at the end of WW2 and the 2A started in 1946. I still have my dads 1943 GPW and it has the stamped grill, also every GPW Ford Jeep has either the word Ford on it (block, head ect) or the letter F. Every nut and volt! All of the MB’s and GPW’s had a full float rear axle and of course no 60’s vintage Warn hubs. There’s a medical term for this thing but it’s not PC currently.
