    The bangs! Help most with how to do the bangs. Mine always want to naturally roll like a mini victory roll!

    It starts with a good cut! Tell your stylist what you'd like your hair to look like curled and they can help by cutting it that way! Otherwise practice changing curl direction to see what way works best for them.

    Did you learn to do this 1940s hairdo on your own? You did an excellent job. It looks so authentic as if you came from the 1940s. If only more young women would style their hair this way instead of the flat limp and straight haircut.

    I learned by doing lots of research and reading old hair magazines! I strive for authenticity so I really appreciate your kind words! I hope I can inspire others to revisit timeless classic hair!

    This was very enjoyable to watch (although I did have to get rid of that awful music)🤣 ....I always find the fringe area quite tricky when I do a brush out and decide what I’m going to do with it given how it looks on the day. I am moving away from using curlers as I simply find them so uncomfortable to sleep in, and when I do pin curls I use extra long Kirby grips (bobby pins) as I find even the metal clips so uncomfortable. Anyway, I could see the skill and the patience you put into this brush out and let’s face it all brush outs are a complete Black art!! ....So well done! ...new Suby 🥰😍❤️

    Its so hard to find non copyrighted music so I apologize! Thanks for your comments, the fringe behaves however it wants, I usually let it speak to me on the day instead of plan it out! Find what is most comfortable, when I sleep in foam bendy rollers I use a pillow that has a hallow in the middle to make it more comfortable. Bobby Pins are a good solution, for me my hair is too long and thick to use them. Tons of patience but I love tedious things!

    Hi! How long does this style last? Is there a way you could stretch it to multiple days?

  • @jessicatdoesvintage4902

    @jessicatdoesvintage4902

    Yes, I can get it to last almost a week. Sometimes i'll restyle it or brush it out further too. I sleep in a snood and a silk scarf over it, also using wave clips to keep the shape helps too.
