1940s hairstyle tutorial: AUTHENTIC and EASY for BEGINNERS
#pinuphairstyles #1940shair #fitfullyvintage
Are you looking for a 1940’s hairstyle tutorial that is authentic and easy for beginners? Then this is your video right here!
Pin up hairstyles are probably my favourite thing however, when you first start styling pin up hair it can be REALLY frustrating. Fear not! This beautiful and simple 1940’s hairstyle will get you sorted in no time at all. There’s no backcombing or sculpting necessary, you will see that with just a little bit of curling you can be left with glamourous old Hollywood style hair. It’s also absolutely fine if you have bangs or a fringe.
In this video I use a heated pin curl set but you can use any curling method you desire, it really doesn’t matter.
This style is great for those wanting pin up styles for medium hair or indeed those looking for pin up styles for long hair

I really like this idea! A whole series of "everyday" styles like this would be fantastic. Because that's basically what I would like to do. So having to spend an hour on victory rolls is fun on occasion, but not every day before work. 😂
I'm fascinated by these clips. I have never seen these before.
I've been wondering how to do this style. This looks doable
Thank you for sharing your tips! I will definitely try!! Also, thank you for showing how you brush the back! No one ever shows that 🤷♀️?!
This style looks so pretty and really wearable too 😍 i like how you show when things go wrong its realistic but always looks amazing at the end ❤
Aw I love this! This reminds me of my granny! She used to wear her hair like this!!
Tell me your favourite 1940's movies? I need some recommendations!
So thankful for this video! I've been looking for an easy way to make these gorgeous curls on my hair, keep in mind i'm not a big fan of styling my hair, (I always keep it in a bun or ponytail or loose) my hair used to be super long, but i have recently trimmed it down to my shoulder blades for this exact kind of style.
Amazing! One of the first vintage hair tutorials that I can actually see myself doing.
I loved this video! You did such a good job explaining the steps to it! And the final result is so amazing! Thank you! ❤️
Love this style!
I love this video! Great tutorial and she's so funny too!! I needed a simple style like this for a play I'm in. Thanks!!!
Excellent! This is what I needed! Please post more 40’s hairstyle tutorials. My hair is super long (to my waist). I may cut it a bit but I’m not bold enough to cut to my shoulders. Hopefully I can imitate this style, perhaps by pinning up my hair to make it look shorter, lol.
Looks gorgeous on you, thank you lots of tips here! x
Thank you so much for such a helpful and simple tutorial on achieving such a lovely vintage hairstyle!
OMG, you look exactly like Mrs. Coulter in the thumbnail!!! The hair, the blouse, the nails -- made me do a double take. You look beautiful!
What a beauty!
I always like your videos your down to earth, you know how to do easier for busy ladies. And keep it kore simple.
I'm absolutely a sucker for 1940's women hairstyles, and your's is a killer!
So pleased you have loaded this video! I have a fringe like yours which I am growing out and I styled my hair yesterday morning (for my coronavirus 'allowed' once a week trip to the grocery store ha ha) but struggled with my fringe. I actually had it styled very similar to what you have done so I guess I didn't look a clip after all lol. Yours looks great and your instructions are plain and simple (very pleased that you showed the back of the style/brushout too). Will look forward to more videos. X
