This is definitely an easier way to do it. I know most people just use their nails to part of pieces as they braid to make the lines but my nails are way too short for that. and I could never get them even. this is so clever.

no , we pinch! I don't have long nails. I line the hair with edge control or wax to pinch the hair. This is a nice technique for beginners tho

I've seen people use their nails. pinching did not work for me because the lines were not uniform. everyone has their own technique and should use what's best for them.

no this method can cause damage to the hair shaft. the rubberbands plus braids is not a good mix.

I think you did an awesome job for people who actually don't know how to braid at all stop criticizing her methods. If you knew how to do it, you wouldn't be watching this video😡
