Check out "Pasture Dexlue", a '38 Chevy rat rod built by the Uerling brothers (and friends). The original definition of rat rod, IMO, built with used parts, no doodads and fake animals hanging around!
It has a custom frame with a 4-linked rear. The air ride is belt-driven with a York 210, slam specialty bags, and copper lines. It's powered by a '70 Buick 455, Th400, and '03 Dodge rear end. Disc brakes, '57 Ford front axle, new wheels and tires, and one of a kind seats. Hop in and go.
