Hi Buzz, my condolences of the passing of Red. Nice job on the fretwork and the tuner. Your speaker repair was amazing, you were lucky to get a new cone to fit. I can rarely find one with a small enough voice coil hole, most of the speakers I see have about a 3/4" voice coil. Another Buzz cinema masterpiece!!! I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning, Instead, I decided to stay and watch it through to the end 😄

Nice job on the speaker. I didn't think it was going to work because of all the buzzing before you put the cone on. I though the spider had found a resonant frequency or something. But once it was properly attached, it went away. Great job. Your videos are always entertaining. I always look forward to them.

Sorry to hear about Red, Buzz. Takes me back to 1978 when the goldfish industry in Melbourne was hit by the loss of many fish in a few hours. We were getting ready for our Sunday market stall on Saturday afternoon when the fish in our stock tank started dying. We toured the breeders we knew and they all had the same problem. We did manage to find just enough, but everyone was puzzled by it for years after. Nice work yet again, sure no-one holds a candle to you.

That sure was a creepy movie! I liked the old stove in it. Boy, that speaker spider was something. They probably punched out the original by the hundreds. And cleaning the condenser in the dishwasher, instead of ultrasound was pretty kewl buzzo.

I knew this would happen with your speaker 🔊. I think 🤔 I also heard about Red, the fish 🐠. I had a sad 😞 story, many years ago, too. It was about a horse 🐎 that my brother 👦 had. He had married and moved on. He no longer went in the way of needing the horse 🐎. The story is, the horse 🐎 became cast (laying down position) one ☝️ evening, on the ice 🧊. No matter how much we tried to help the horse 🐎 🆙, we couldn’t. We’re not sure 🤔 if it was a heart ❤️ attack, or a stroke that the horse 🐎 was suffering. The next morning, my dad 👴 went out the door 🚪 with his gun. I was waiting to hear 👂 a loud bang ❗️. Yes, it came, with an echo, which carried out through the woods 🪵. The first bang was also the last. I and my stepmother were laying on the bed 🛌. My dad 👴 went 🆙stairs, laid on his side of the bed 🛌, and they both cried 😢. I can’t remember if I also cried or not 😢. It sounds like 👍 ya might have blown the speaker 🔊 out on your radio 📻. Sorry 😞 once again, about your fish 🐠, Red. There had to be quite an attachment there. 11 years. The radio 📻 will be definitely 👍 worth a few beers 🍻. Your friend, Jeff.

Poor Red, but at least she isn't suffering now. Sorry to hear, Buzz. I used to use spar varnish on our front door and on outdoor benches we used to have as the spar type was made for boats I think and handles the weather better than regular varnish. Yes, that speaker looks smart, but it's a Magnavox. Smart....very smart :) I wonder if Jimmy Olsen was related to Johnny Olson because when he tripped I swear I could hear Johnny saying "Come on down!"...or maybe Ma was just watching old reruns of TPIR in the next room. August of '68 I was probably giving my Ma a hard time as I was ready to pop out the first week of September, lol. I give myself a haircut about like that once every six months or so with a pair of remington clippers I've had for 30 years or so.

I’ve often wondered why none of the antique electronic supply companies don’t offer reproduction speaker cones with the original low profile surrounds. You’d think a few basic sizes would sell. I always seem to run into interference problems with those foam surrounds.

I completely redid all the sound last month, with music from the Superman TV series, and added all the sound effects, and dialog.

Sorry about old red buzz. There was a vintage radio manufacurer here in the Uk called defiant, not sure if they are related to defiance.

My condolences to your loving goldfish Buzz. I lost my Pomeranian daughter a while back and it hurts the heart. Healing is to stay busy and when the time is right, take that stroll to your local aquarium retail and adopt a loving fish that swims up to you with those googly eyes, and happiness will sprout in your soul once again. hi Kevin.....some people think a fish is stupid, but everyday for 11 1/2 years, I saw that fish the first thing in the morning, and the last thing at night. When I used to clean the inside glass of the tank, Red used to rub up against my arm. She was very intelligent as she got older. Thanks for your comment! 🍺🍺🍟🍟
