In the late 70's I had a Harley 45 cu in servicar stretched over 16 feet springer original lengthened 38 over and ridiculous rake. Frame covered in square with a coffin tank. Fiberglass body with no fenders. Keystone chrome 15 inch rears with 16 inch front that side hopped in turns at slow speed.

My new hero! I've got a '67 Bug, with title, that could be completely restored, but that's not me, and now I see it's future without the usual chop top 'complications'. Now, my thought for getting rid of the bubble of the top is to cut it out, flatten it, which makes it wider/longer than needed, cut it down to fit the new hole, & weld it in. Thx for the cowboy inspiration! 🤠

We could ride 20 to 30 miles and not catch any red lights ! Of course none of the "Sissies " ever noticed ! LOL
