great video ! I never seen so such high definition video about 1930s China.

The Chinese culture and history are so amazing. I love their ancient writings, abacus, and principals. I wish I could have seen it before WWII. Wouldn't mind seeing it now.

Videos about the past are simply mind-blowing and thought-provocating.

Its both settling and unsettling to see the past lives of so many people who are now dead knowing I will soon enough be the same to a future I will never see

Horace Hogsnort back then China isn’t under communism because Mao Zedong don’t exist until 1950s or so.

@Sergio LEFOTU the Nationalists and Communists formed a pact to stop the civil war and fend off Japan together. Both the Nationalists and the Communists are responsible for the defense. It wasn't until 1949 when the Kuomintang retreated to Taiwan and northern Burma when the Communist Party took over Beijing

They were better back then.. there were still rich people and LESS poor than there are today, and imagine how clean the air would have been. And it had unique culture,unlike now since Mao banned and erased it all. They are just a carbon copy machine now, and destroyed their art, cities and nature to build copies of Paris and LA suburbs that sit empty. It's tragic, China is ruining all of Asia and Africa and australia and the south pacific, too... Polluting and corrupting and putting slave shops all over. THIS was a beautiful time,not now!
