ZIPPI give yourself credit Sir, That's a very nice clean build and it really looks good.. I love it.... I really want people to understand that us guys that get crazy with the details don't have as much fun as the ones who keep things simple and clean.. At least that's my OPINION and the way I feel.. Honestly I admire you for just how good your builds turn out without all the DRAMA that comes with doing a lot of details.. You do great work.😎👍

Beautiful model Zippi . Makes me want to get back to kits . I've got a few stashed away . I got my one and only award (for 1st place ) way back around '66 . A customized AMT '53 F100 Ford p/u pulling a super-detailled rail on a scratch-built trailer . The shop that offered to engrave it should still have it ! (Or not ) Anyways , I'm really tempted . Since my health deteriorated , I started collecting 1/18 die-cast jobs , and customized a few , too . One thing I like to do , is sand the tyres , just to pick out the tread . It can add the finishing touch to an open-wheelled car like a rod . I love your attitude . I have little time for 'rivet-counters' . That may inspire some , but I believe it can also put people off . Come on , it's supposed to be fun , right ? If other people like what you do , great . But that's not the main point , when it's a hobby . Oh , just subbed , too . Pete (not another one ?) in UK . I was called Cosmik Pete when I 'was' a hippie . Would that help 😀😃😁🤣🤣

I like the colour and the small details. I have made springs by wrapping stainless steel wire around a mandrel. Wire and mandrel size to suit model size. I spread the coils a little to make the look of car springs. Or I use the spring from ball point pens. They work well enough for a model.
