193) Vancouver & Chilliwack (Woman in the City)
On Family Day weekend (February 17, 18, 19, 2024) I flew to Vancouver to visit my baby sister, who lives in Chilliwack. During the 51 hours I was there, I visited a graffiti skate park with my dear old friend, Andrew, hiked in gorgeous Lynn Canyon and crossed the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, stayed a night at the Cambie Hostel in Gastown, walked the 11-kilometre supremely scenic Seawall Water Walk through Stanley Park on the Pacific Ocean (where I saw a seal!), enjoyed the stellar view of the Rocky Mountains from both the plane above (on the flight in thanks to a cloudless sky and clean windows, haha, with a view so crisp and clear the ridges and ripples of the rock faces were discernible!) and during the drive to Chilliwack. It was great hanging with my sister, her partner and my nephew for the day and evening. The next morning we hiked in beautiful Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park, all three of us climbing right up to the foot of the magnificent waterfall. I had such an amazing time and I’m happy to share the highlights with you! The Texas Lone Star series will continue next video!

Thank you for the enjoyable and interesting tour of Vancouver. A very beautiful city I think. I had never before heard of Chilliwack but that was also a beautiful little gem too. Enjoy yourself and stay healthy and happy Christina. I will see you on the next one.

It’s a national holiday here in Canada. They just named it that pretty randomly, I think. Extra time to spend with your family. 🤷🏻♀️
