You can build 2 kits from it. A stock T and a hot rod. The optional engine is a Lincoln.

I love that wee kit, it looks awesome! Just had the old Monogram '70 Dodge Challenger T/A dropped off a few days ago, still in its original factory wrapping, now I'm waiting for their '71 Hemi Cuda, also still in its original factory wrapping....the Plymouth '70 GTX and '69 Dodge 440 Six Pack next! Keeping my eyes open after the Li'l Coffin and Boot Hill Express, in the boxing that I bought them in back in the day.... Nostalgia in modeling is expensive at time, bit all the childhood memories it brings back, it's well worth it! 😁 Find myself digging into the boxes at times and not returning back to reality until hours later.... again, where's a time machine when you need one? 🤨🤔😉😆😂 All the best to you and your family my friend, keep the ladies busy building and them videos coming! It's 02:02 am here in Glasgow, Scotland, when I'm watching this video and I'm off from work for two weeks, hopefully get some styrene glued together! 🤞🏻

This kit was handed out by Ford dealerships as a thank you for testing out a showroom cars and trucks. Notice no AMT logo on the box. Other kits were also offered. I have a '32 ford with the same style box.

The V8 engine was a Lincoln. In the 60s it was called craftsmanship. AMT continued issuing classic cars, like all the classic Fords. This was originally issued in 1962.

If you go into Luke's Cee page. He haves a way to restore your decals. I had some bad decals that would fall apart every time I used them. I did what Luke's Cee said to restore them and worked. You have go back a couple of years to see the video. But, it works. I would build that car as the original Model T.

I had this kit in 1962 when I was 13 or 14. The coupe was called a Tall T and the Roadster could be built with a turtle deck or a pickup bed. Either a stock or a hot rod. I remember it as a really cool kit and the only one I remember that you could build two complete cars. I got a newer version off of eBay but it’s Round 2, and has a chopped T instead of the Tall T. Mine is missing some parts, tires and Lincoln engine. I’d like to find the original like you have, looks like it’s in good shape. 👍

Those were the kind of slicks that were used post war '40s into the early '60s. Those are the kind of slicks that I prefer to use in my '50s period correct hotrod models.

@@modelcarvideos5829 I have a pair of that type of slicks on my '57 Fairlane, that I built back in '78. It has the Paxton supercharger option in it. With a lowered front end. Looks particularly wicked as a street racer. It looks like I am going to have to get a casting kit, and make a mold from some of my other narrow slicks, and resin cast more for future builds. I like this kind of slicks, because they fit nicely in the fenders, without having to allter the fender radius.

As another comment alludes to, this was a promotional effort by Ford, one of three kits only available in a private packaging from Ford. The 1925 T(shown here), 1932 Ford roadster, & 1932 Ford Victoria, all 3 molded in black. All are kits that were common reissues later. All three would have a card or small letter from Ford inside noting the special promotion status of the kits; I believe this one was available via dealers, where the others were a mail in arrangement via Ford. This one is a standout to me as my brother had been given one by a relative when we were kids; so this box art is how I remember this kit from early childhood.

I'm guessing the pamphlet with '65 Fords was put in the box by a previous owner after the box was opened, and your kit is older than that. I think the pamphlet was in my kit that I built in the mid-late '60's, but my box was not like this green-striped one, it was reddish-brown and black, with the same pictures. Recently I've purchased two of the AMT retro-series kits that has the same reddish-brown box art.
