My great uncle served in WW I as a first aid man in the US Army. He told me that he saw very few gas casualties because areas that were in danger of being gassed were well marked and the soldiers had to wear their masks around their necks so they could put them on quickly. This was what we saw with these German troops in this short. Bravo!

First Aider/Medic in the US "army" The cowards who turned up to fight late, with less than one year left by the time they had bought French tanks, French aircraft, French machine guns, French artillery and shells. The Yenghi did not intend to turn up to fight. The proof is that they stayed out of the war as long as they could, rushed the conscription, didn't train the "soldiers" for a long enough time, and didn't go on to a war footing in their armaments industries. The top bosses, like the mafia, don't want to fight against an equal opponent. In fact, since 1945, the Yenghi have never fought against an equal technology foe. They are cowards. They prefer to shoot and bomb Allied soldiers rather than the enemy who shoot back. Look at what the "best army in the world" did against the MsF hospital in Kunduz. The Yenghi knew where it was, knew there were no enemy based there, but spent 1 and a half hours bombing, firing rocket, shells and chain guns into the hospital. All they killed, murdered and wounded were doctors, nurses, a surgeon, 3 technicians, who looked after the e=water supply and the electricity, and the operating theatre support. The Yenghi are the most immoral country in the whole world. No principles, no morals, no standards, no self-discipline, no conscience. And, going back to WW1, the Yenghi forces were not based in dangerous areas. They only fought one important battle, in their ONE YEAR of war, and that was Bois Belleau.

You ding dong the United States has been the world police for international finance pressing the agenda of debt based currency and the Rotschild/illuminati agenda since about WW-1. Basically all nations, all people are just pawns with their governments acting as puppets in this act since the modern financial system using fractional reserve banking was invented by the Catholic Church and the Medici family in the middle ages, almost 1000 years of debt slavery. Nothing you can do except try to stay out of trouble and make the best life for yourself and your family. Good luck. This was a good short though.@@Demun1649

I was happy to be able to watch this wonderful video. Thank you very much. At that time, the German Empire was also at war with our homeland, the Empire of Japan, in the Far East. At that time, 4,700 German prisoners of war were held in Japan, and there are graves of German soldiers who died during the imprisonment near my house. Someone is still offering flowers there. After the war ended, there were former soldiers who lived in Japan and spread German music and Western confectionery (baumkuchen) techniques. I would be happy if the "Far East Edition" was produced someday.⛪

@polite british person It's been a long time since a global war has come along. Nearly 4 generations have passed since the young men of the world were sent to the Frontline on a global scale. We have forgotten how truly bloody and violent war is. We have become immune to it. We see war as a fight between the good guys and the bad guys rather than individuals on both sides who were told by their leaders to fight for their country. We sit back and watch as we hear of thousands dying, and yet we aren't even phased. For we don't truly feel the effects of war, we simply hope that the side we deem as the "right" side prevails. Most of the men who fight in war are completely innocent. They don't deserve to die anymore than you or me. Yet when they die, they become a number, nobody but their family mourns. War has become romanticized as it has been a hundred years ago. Society has forgotten its past and will soon pay the price.

So absolutely no room for improvement? The best you’ve ever seen? I guess you’ve also never seen an ugly newborn as well. Sorry, commenters on YT are just too false. These asked what people think. If real critics rated this, it would get a 3 out of 10.

@@Colin-Fenix I've never said there's no room for improvement. I'm no film critic. I know they are a small team with a limited budget and yet they make good films. I'm not watching it to critique it, I watched it and "enjoyed" it. They hooked me with the storyline and to me it feels realistic. Not glorifying war, but trying to portray it as realistic as possible. To me it felt immersive, and not everyone can do that, even if they have a good production. So I appreciate their work.

He died the year before I was born, so I never had the chance to know him and hear about what he experienced in the war. I've read and studied both WWI and WWII since I was a young and have a great understanding of the battles and causes of these wars, but films such as this bring it to life with a feeling of being there that you don't get with the original black and white battle films or the propaganda filled films from Hollywood.

Greetings from France! I thought the grenade attack was amazing, I don't know how you managed to get this second explosion without hurting anyone. It looks like a German grenade but I guess French soldiers could have picked and used some. My great-grandfather lost 15 cousins in this stupid war, the youngest two were only 16 and had lied to enlist, and my grandma's uncle also died. I'm happy that France and Germany are good friends now. It is sad to see war in Ukraine in the 21st century, hopefully Russians will learn that the best security is to have good relations with one's neighbours. Gute Arbeit, vielen dank!
