1910s - Paris in color [60fps, Remastered] w/sound design added

I colorized with new technique, restored and created a sound design for this video of Paris, France in 1910s , You can clearly see that this is happening in broad daylight and many historical monuments and sequences of horse-drawn carriages and cars from the early 1910s and the Parisian style of dress from that period.
Video Restoration Process:
✔ FPS boosted to 60 frames per second
✔ Image resolution boosted up to HD
✔ Improved video sharpness and brightness
✔ Colorized only for the ambiance (not historically accurate)
✔added sound only for the ambiance
✔restoration:(stabilisation,denoise,cleand,deblur)
Please, be aware that colorization colors are not real and fake, colorization was made only for the ambiance and do not represent real historical data.

Great footage, but I assume the 1921 date is a mistype for 1912? The fashion and traffic looks to be pre-WW1, not post-war.

It is clear that as "disregard" says, it is not in 1921, but before the war, moreover, on another video, we can see how women's fashion changed after the war. But probably 1912. The metro viaduct, on the Bir Hakheim bridge on the other hand, existed, built in 1905. Thank you for this very beautiful restoration and coloring work.

stunning video footage, especially considering it's 110 years old. You think it's not that long ago because of the video quality, but it's. Note the carriages on which many people are sitting. It's unthinkable if the horses go crazy and start galloping ... 😉

@@Poisson4147 yeah I can relate . Imagine the time it took to create such detail. There’s so much about the past that we Dont know , it’s pretty funny that in just about 400 years we have come this far this fast . 140years ago we had horse and buggy, no TV , electronics. Where did all this come from in such a short period of time??

  • @Poisson4147

@@rusherman2112 A long time ago I took a super-interesting university class that touched on how ideas spread at different times in history. Technology develops exponentially rather than linearly. Each advance generates 2 or 3 or 10 more. E.g. once electricity was understood scientists and engineers found applications in areas ranging from lighting to transportation to communication. Improved communication meant that people weren't working in isolation nearly so much. Ideas and techniques could spread more easily and in effect "cross-fertilize" each other a lot faster than before. I'm ancient enough to have been around in the 1960s and remember that then-new TVs and radios didn't look much different from the clunky 1950s boxes my parents still had. But when solid-state components started coming out things started to change radically as engineers realized they had new & better ways of building sets. And not just home entertainment - IC's made everything from computers to spacecraft far more practical than they'd been just a few years earlier. I can't imagine that we'd have been able to build satellites or moon craft if they still relied on tubes/valves!

FFS just stop with the conspiracy nonsense and fixation on horses and carriages. They were personal transport because small motors didn't exist yet. That didn't mean everyone was living in huts using rocks for hammers and cutting wood with flint knives! Builders had STEAM-powered heavy equipment like cranes, excavators, even drills. There's libraries full of documentation. Or are you gonna claim that things like railroads, ships, bridges, tunnels, canals, etc. were all built by Hogwarts graduates too?
