I personally think Kyungsoo's shyness and quietness are his strengths for I think both allow him to observe more as he develop his skills in acting.

the fact that swing kids’ director was adamant about kyungsoo being the main lead even if the investment company rejected the idea SPEAKS VOLUMES. do kyungsoo has never had it the easier way just because he was an idol, in fact SM literally wastes his talent by not letting him sing any OST or denying many opportunities for him but he still made it into to acting industry as a promising,hard working and talented actor even though there were a lot of people judging him for being an idol,his height or other reasons. i will always be proud of stanning kyungsoo because he is one of the rare actors/idols who don’t fake their lifestyle or feelings for more fame. i love how humble and hard working he is,can’t wait to see more of his works. kyungsoo fighting!

I’ve never been prouder as a fan. He is always the quiet, unassuming, kind one who seem uninterested in the fame that comes with performing and yet he shines. 😭

As a doh kyungsoo's fan since debut, i'm not gonna lie that i have this kind of prejudice towards idol actor, I'm always skeptic when it comes to idols starting an acting career and it happened to kyungsoo too when he was casted as Taeyoung in Cart and Kangwoo in IOIL. Before the drama aired (It's Ok It' Love) I was nervous and anxious whenever i was livestreaming the drama, i was so scared of checking any K-site with knetz comments on it.. But yeah, as always, he exceeded my expectation. He did really well and stole many heart of viewers as Kangwoo in IOIL.. Now that he has grown so much throughout the years, in both acting and singing, he also worked so hard to get where he's now. Now i'm so excited to continue seeing he grow in more ways than one.. I'm so proud of him and i can see myself still fangirling over him 5-10 years later. *sigh*.. p.s. SM those damn mf hit the jackpot with kyungsoo, really.. like who knew this cute guy with doe eyes have voice smooth as chocolate and killer acting skills! 😭

oliphondubu _ Yes SM hit the jackpot with Kyungsoo. When there was a rumour that Kyungsoo did not renew his contract with SM their stock prices dropped. I have never seen SM respond quickly to a rumour the way they responded to that rumour. Kyungsoo’s recent drama was also very successful being the 5th highest rated drama in cable tv. I just think the way the people in the videos were so quick to judge his acting that they had not seen is not fair. Even though most all idol actors are not good but we have In Siwan that has made a name for himself as an actor before Kyungsoo. What a loss for that investment company that pulled out because Kyungsoo was getting the main role. They didn’t even bother to check his previous works and research about the public’s reception to his previous roles before judging him. I was a K drama fan before I became an EXO fan. When I watched It’s okay that’s love I was also impressed by his acting but I watched the drama because of Jo In Sung. When I watched Suspicious Partner the guy that was the killer reminded me of Kyungsoo in his debut drama.

So proud of Kyungsoo.👏👏👏 How can this man have all these talents but still stays humble. I love you Kyungsoo.😍

Do Kyungsoo really broke the stigma of being an Actor-Idol. Some are good, but he's just so different.

Im proud of Do kyungsoo. He is my ult bias in EXO. Other members also are very talented. But for me do kyung soo is a unique idol, really different from other idols. He has all the idol basics: visual, vocal, dance, acting capability, and the most important think is great attitude. Thats why he's got my respect. As for me, right now he is the best idol actor that I have seen. I think he has the talent in every aspect of acting. I love to see him in another movie or drama this year. I am anticipating that he will carry all the role that will be given to him. I admire him in Swing Kids. He has all the capabilities to carry it all. Being an EXO member, a lot of people already acknowledge him as an exceptional singer and a good dancer - personally, I think that he's one of the best singers not just in EXO but in the KPOP industry. His voice quality is very rare and is very soothing to listen to and both this high and low notes are equally as good. His adlibs and runs are also quite different from the usual. This can be a two-edged sword, though, as proven by these journalists/film critics. Because he is a well-known member of an equally well-known idol group, some people have this prejudice that he only got his acting roles because he's popular and not because he deserved to get them owing to his acting talents. So proud that he is proving doubters wrong each and every time. I didn't know who he was when my sister suggested I watch My Annoying Brother and within a few minutes of watching the film, I already knew I was watching a very sensitive and effective actor. I was so moved by his performance that I cried several times during the film. Afterwards, I wanted to see his other acting projects and found out that he was a talented singer and dancer as well. Above all his many talents, I admire him most for his personality. He doesn't seem to be the type who craves attention or fame - in fact he shies away from attention and usually lets his other members take the spotlight. He just seems to want to be able to express himself via singing, dancing and acting and seems most content when he is able to do so. Swing Kids is not your usual happy ending story but it really left a great impression on me. Plus the fact that he looked like a genius tap dancer when he only learned it for 6 months. i think idol acting just as marketing strategies for producer to attract their movie/drama to audience among the idol fans. because most idols have good physique and pretty face. its just a bonus if they cast a really good idol-actor, and catch attention from non-idol fans audience.
