If you're trying to lose weight, it's not the best way to lose weight. Fasting can lead to stress and stress can lead to weight gain. You could just start to eat more healthy, it'll improve your overall health. (Keep in mind that I'm no expert, I was told this by a trustworthy friend of mine-)
