I believe this is a really important video. People are used to poorly designed DKP trucks. Even when properly tuned, their performance is limited. The new generation of precision machined DKPs like the Omni have better all around better performance, smoothness and high speed stability. They are extremely enjoyable for those looking to carve.

The Alu/Mag alloy is an interesting choice ... presumably for weight savings. Having broken esk8 trucks in the past I gravitate towards 7075 rather than lighter options.

Coloured logo isn't my favourite part but they look incredibly good though! I think rear with TKP and front with DKP would be nice combo for sure!

I have the DKP, but my wheel pulley doesn’t line up w motor pulley. Which wheel pulley are you using…Omni or other brand?

Ah... If the inner bearing size of the wheel pulley is different, it may not be line up.. If this isn't the case, try the washers

First of all, the price difference between them is more than twice. Since the structure of the trucks is similar, the characteristics of movement are similar. However, it was solid and stable due to a more professional bushing combination and precisely machined parts.

Would they fit the meepo hurricane ultra gear driven system? Looks like it would

The two have very different purposes. Of course, Trampa's truck, which can ride on mountains, is more reliable and more expensive.

Hey KAMi I was thinking, the mounting plate of the truck because of the shape probably doesn't fit inside the recessed hole on the Ownboard Zeus Carbon deck? Can you confirm my thoughts. Thanks.

I can't confirm exactly because I don't have Zeus anymore. However, since the size of the truck's base plate is standardized, it can be installed on most decks. And I think it's possible

@@KAMiJUINs will i definitely have a funner time and feel a noticeable difference if i installed it on my envy? or will it feel mostly the same and the hassle of the setup wouldnt be worth it? just got my envy and trying to updgrade the fun factor as its a great board and all but if its barely noticable for the price ill hold off to put it on something else.

Hey, i just recieved my DKP set but when trying to install it to the envy the motor mounts dont seem to work and fit as the stock envy has 4 holes for holding the motor in place but the axle on the DKP trucks has 3 holes, does this mean i need to just order the motor mount kit from omni or that it isnt compatible?

Wait, with your parts can I convert my beloved Meepo voyager to gear drive ?! Or AT tires ?

By normal truck you mean 8 inch 50 degree reverse kingpin truck? If so, TKP has more movement and smoothness compared to them.

Well,,, The two had almost the same performance. However, Omni's TKP was more smooth in the bushing combination.
