Day in and day out, the department of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI wear many different hats. Being a public safety department they had to customize their new apparatus to be a police and fire combo, and that is where Rosenbauer stepped in to help them customize their new apparatus to their exact needs. Firefighter Sundee Harland is excited to take us on a walk around of their stunning new truck!

4:43 that airpack thingamagigy is awesome! Grants Pass, Oregon at one time had officers cross trained as well, the city simply had two fire engines with two firefighters on each unit and then PD would meet the engine at the scene. Now the city is so dang big that we no longer do that, plus we now have 3 fire engines with 7 personnel plus two college students per shift.

PSO's will be on scene and donned up...meet that apparatus at the scene. Mutual Aid fire then they will go in the cab.
