I drove 18 wheeler 25 yrs ,last 5 yrs it was a 10 speed automatic and loved every minute of it,I ran about 40 states,that is a nice KW good luck..

He’s going to love that bed and tail gate. OX Body didn’t make that style when they built our hard ox barn door style. It’s manual and option to either operate as a regular gate or pin and pull a latch and swing. People has seen it loaded with stumps, broken up concrete and rip rap and question how we dumped it without wedging out. It’s on a ugly old 96 RD Mack and cost more than the trucks worth but the bed is worth every penny for our many uses. There’s Another as I call them,Pretty Truck!! Enjoy that nice ride.

what beauty of a truck!!!!

Some one has to drive it to make money with it and those first days when the scratches on the inside of the bed happen, it flat hurts like a gut ache. Hank, to me that young man shows a lot of good karma as his temperament is fair mellow. He looks hungry to work and his toy collection is still small, but it will grow. Brings back some good memories.... even the name Kenworth.... when I started my business, they were right there to help me grow.

if it's clean then it ain't workin...i used to wash my dump trucks every other weekend and by the end of the day on monday they looked like they hadn't been washed at all....we hauled road rock and asphalt and millings..was dirty but paid well

I work for a city in Canada. We have about 30 dumps trucks we use for plowing. Way better in a automatic because you can concentrate more and pay attention to plowing the roads and seeing where the snow is going as well as how far your wing blade is from the curb and parked vehicles. The wing blade sticks out a long way. We also just got about 30 brand new 2021 CAT 950M loaders with wing blades for the heavy snow. We got close to 3 feet in one blizzard last year. We had drifts 10 to 12 feet high.

i had an automatic mack...man that thing was a pain in the rear...when it got cold it never wanted to go above 4th or 5th gear....i will never own another neumatic shift truck...a little water in the air lines will ruin your day

@@janeames1513 9 months later but I had the same problem with the air tanks taking on water. 3 air dryers later they still can’t figure out the problem.

Any problems with the Ox Bodies lift gate? Mine started getting whacked out on my 2015 Mack after 2 years. Driving a silver 2022 KW W-900 extended cab now with a Rogers bed and lift gate. It’s an automatic (Allison 6 speed). We all drive KW’s. Boss ordered me a black 2024 KW T880 in black last week. It’ll take a few months to be built, bed installed, controls, etc. Can’t wait till it gets here. Love your red T880! My favorite truck; Mack Granite is 2nd

180k is a pretty solid deal over here in Canada we’re getting this for about 200plus k easy

Having Run a Road tractor with a Allison TC10 i would not go back to a manual Cummins is starting to finally get the bugs out of the x15s ... And Hank its IH red lol they were red long before hahah
