That was all the rage back then, justified too tbf, Rooney was a brilliant youngster and commanded a world record fee for a teenager to Utd at 18. I always thought Messi was more talented, but fuck me he went into a different realm by the time he hit 20, and as they say, the rest is history.

This game really shows the decline of Ronaldinho sadly... Just watch him when he is not on the ball... I have no clue what the guy is even doing. Just zero effort. When Messi makes the cut into the middle from the right, Ronnie, playing the left, should be making cuts. He never does. He just stands around. He is never looking to make runs or cuts into the middle. He was never like this the year before or at PSG.
