💯. They failed to mention the amount of startup capital required to launch such a product. I guarantee neither has experience in leather, materials, sampling, grading, technical design, sewing, manufacturing, etc. Just a boat load of cash. I'm by no means shitting on it/them (the branding/packaging is pretty fire actually) but to suggest this is simply another "follow your dreams" scenarios is completely false and misleading. Even with those big names out there using the product, I bet they're still in the red and won't be turning a profit anytime soon. And if it does become successful, what's to stop every major glove maker to simply offer a similar glove with premium leather..? And perhaps a better question is, why haven't they or aren't they already?
@bovice1766
4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelbrandon9791 Yep I agree 100%. If they were REALLY smart they would have patented whatever special "technology" and licensed it to all the major brand names, made a chunk of cash and got out. You are right they better be prepared to sit in the red for at least the next 2-3 years.
So essentially, you created a perfect product that your consumers only have to buy once.

These gloves are going to be one of those things that may be a little pricey but they literally will save money in the end. My son is projected to be a first round draft pick in the top 25 and he swears by these. I'm not exactly sure what it is but they have helped my son raise his batting average. He is 6'5" & 265lbs. He tells me that he thinks the Bolts design helps his wrists stay straight or stiff thereby helping him to stay balanced and not dip during his swing. He has always been a beast in the box. His swing is characterized has violent yet effective!! With his height and weight he produces a lot of power hence he was going through 2 or 3 pair of batting gloves A WEEK!!! We frequented Baseball Monkey before last summer when we were looking for a certain bat. He decided to give them a try and it worked out. Because my family has dual citizenship he played with the U18 team from Mexico after playing for the U.S the season before. He took 3 pair of Bolts and played for nearly 4 months with out opening the other two packs. They are great in my opinion and he continues to use those at bat. On the field he uses Elite batting gloves under his glove. The Bolts he's using now are the same pair from jump street. Good for this kid doing something like this. He saw a need and fulfilled it. I wish him all the luck in the world and stories like this prove that there is hope for the future!!! Congrats kid!!!
