Well, long ago, when I was young and impressionable, I watched an HBO prison documentary featuring an individual known colloquially as “The Tossed Salad Man”. Upon hearing this individual describe the choices he presents to new inmates, involving “syrup or jelly”, I declared out loud that “I am never going to jail… ever”. This has indeed resulted in my not going to jail - because I’ve avoided that whole “felony” thing and “having warrants”… because I don’t want to choose between syrup or jelly.

They don’t know what to do with her either. Her parents kicked her out in the previous episode. She obviously has developmental issues but chances are as she got older, stronger and more violent, they were unable to control her behavior at home. I can bet that there was plenty of physical abuse and the destruction of property towards family members as a result of her actions in the parent’s home before she turned 18 and the folk’s said “I’m over it.” No one wants to get beat up regardless of the mental issues. Been there.

Chances are they’ve tried to get her help, the courts and social services would be offering as much treatment and resources as they can, unfortunately, not matter how much help she is offered, there has to be a percentage of compliance. She is very violent and aggressive and services can only do so much. She’s currently on probation which means they’ve probably even made it a requirement for her to participate in mental health treatment.

This girl is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and it’s very obvious that she has not mentally aged since she was six years old. This is one of those examples where it really, actually feels like they’re dealing with a toddler. This is the same girl who claims she had a famous boyfriend that never actually existed. You can just tell that she still existing la la land and not the real world. Also, how is she hired anywhere?

I strongly suspect she has something like fetal alcohol effect. She has some of the facial features (close set eyes, a reduced nasal bridge, lack of cupids now, etc). They struggle to mature, and they can act almost as if they’re a bit drunk when they get emotional. Impulse control and emotional regulation are particularly hard for folks with FAE.

She clearly had a mental health episode after she was upset that she couldn't bring food from a food bank she got into her room. Just because a person acts this way does not make them a bad person it makes her have troubles. This was not the kind of help that she needed. She clearly needs psychiatric help.
