An amazing achievement, how can we see the exact route they took?

Jesus christ these guys are machines. 29 km and 4500 vertical meters - even half of that would be nothing to snazz at. Even more impressive that most of the distance travelled was on the upper end of 3000 meters and more. Just impressive and inspiring. Keep in mind that most people can't even hike 29km in a day, without being completely exhausted at the end. Let alone anything more than say 1000 vertical meters.

It's undoubtably an impressive achievement but the numbers aren't that crazy. Normal non-pro runners can run 29km in a couple hours and climb 1000vertical meters in under an hour, let alone what the pros can do. It's much more impressive that they were going this fast over semi technical terrain in the mountains

@@3stooges0 The average person won't run 29km with 1000 vertical meters though. Running the distance by itself isn't that big of a challenge but still requires training. Keep in mind, we're talking about your average Joe here. Yes, somebody who runs a few times a week will be able to run the 29k easily, depending on their training the 1k vm is also not that big of a deal. Professionals obviously can do this easily, I mean there's people running ultras that span 100 miles but you have to put it in perspective. Very few people actually can do this, there's a reason why finishing a marathon is *still* an achievement in and of itself, even if many people have done it. I still stand by what I said that most people won't be able to hike 29k with 1000 vm - because most people simply don't hike that far or that often. That doesn't mean most people *couldn't* do it if they did a bit of training.

And: it's a difference if you run or hike this amount in 4000m height. Everything gets more exhausting up there, believe me. And on top of that there's also some objective danger, because they were running on a glacier unroped. If one of them fell in a crevasse, things would get really nasty. 29km and 4500m is indeed an achievement on that kinda terrain and in that height.

Super Leistung!
